How has this been 12 years. Returning to this from a bookmark I stumbled upon. I have an interview in a couple of weeks so I had to click. 8 years with a startup and booted out the door. Somehow pleasing that 12 years has passed and this man can still make me smile ear to ear.

Oh, I mixed up my calendar between the job interview and public speaking tomorrow, so I prepared for the wrong thing. If it's all the same I'll just set up this easel and posterboard slides I made and get right into my presentation on rhinocerous defecation. Don't mind the smell, it's natural.

Get real [and a Zè Frank voice echos whisper quiet and in my ear] "Can't get any more real than that, Uncle." And I can hear the moment crystalizing into reality with snapping crunch and I feel with every part of my "humanity" the real move snap-crunching on into the next & next realizing that "real" now solid in the past. And again. Here it comes the crunch – snapping and I wonder if this piece of solid real will be viewed by "someone" after I've long past it and all the others?

It is sad that one can never truly speak their mind in a job interview. Yes, all the answers may be true that one gives, but are they honest?

Why do you want this job? Because no one is got to pay me for existing.
Why do you want to work here? Because you have an opening.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I have never been able to effectively plan 6 months ahead. Life never goes how I expect. I hope that I have not been killed by a mugger in the next 5 years.
What is your goal in life? Not to die alone.
What is your greatest strength? I like to cook. I am good at it. It has nothing to do with this job.
What is your greatest weakness? Good food. I know, it has nothing to do with the job.

I just wanted to say, thank you so much for sticking with your channel. I found your material about 3 years ago and my friends and family now think I've taken some kind of annex course in identifying animals by their latin names.
You've entertained me, informed me and made me see the world differently.
Please keep it up. There are a lot of people out there who need to see your videos.

And now I’m thinking about the essense of time and how much I waste and how every second I spend is a second gone. What am I gonna do with the next five years? I have a maximum of 20 blocks of 5 years in my life and are you saying you want to take one of those? AGHGKKFBE

I'm doing this at my next interview. I'm actually going to memorise the words. The way I will get a moment of pure joy and if I get the job yay if I dont, it's okay because I totally had a cool moment of joy. I'll bet it makes the interviewers day too!

Oh, Ze… your videos make me laugh and make me cry and make me think about existence and realise how extraordinary is this thing we call life, with all it's complexity.

Why do you want this job. I never quite understood why employers ask such a trivial question. You apply for a job at McDonald's, they'll ask you why you want the job. "Because I'm passionate about French Fries, burgers and making people fat." Of course, for the money! I mean, what other reasons would someone want to flip burgers in a greasy environment other than their own backyard? This question is a call for having liars in your business. Do you want liars in your business? If you're in the retail industry, probably. But NO ONE will ever believe you if you hire people who say that going to McDonald's is a healthy choice.
