I still watch the Leno-on-Letterman compilations from the early1980s. up through the early 1990s. Those appearances still crack me up They played off one another perfectly. Absolute gold.

Great interview with a winner and absolute legend Jay Leno, too bad the video quality is not up to snuff. What happened with THAT? Or did Jay ask you to tone down the resolution because the new face he got from his "face guy" hasn't set yet? Maybe Jay's face guy isn't as great as he said he was?

These podcasts are why late night talk shows are losing audiences. Not politics. Not lack of talent. But, a good long discussion instead of a 10 minute promo.

Leno is a solid common-sense, down-to-earth guy, which always comes across in the podcasts he does. Ironically, though, his greatest asset is his greatest liability, which came through towards the end. All he cares about is finding the next joke, without any concern for the larger meaning of it all. It's pretty apparent he doesn't know Christ as His Savior, so if he were to die with that lack of belief, I don't see him trying to find something funny in hell. The greater irony is that his millions, which Brennan was so fixated on, won't matter at all either. Mark 8:36 came to mind: "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?"

I love watching Jay Leno on Lettermen. There is a series from 84 to… and it is awesome! First real exposure to Jay. I do not recall watching late night after Johnny. Peace 56 years old female from western MA Also, enjoy the garage series and rides on the road! : )

Jaye's got it down. He's not a showbiz guy, he's a regular guy who has a famous job. Always liked him in the 80's on Letterman, never changed my opinion. Love Neal.

I have watched a lot of Jay Leno interviews, and I'm starting to believe that "That's ok" really means, "That's not ok."
The appearances on Letterman's show were Jay at his best–the Tonight Show was not (by design, as he says).
