    You confuse me Josh Johnson.
You can tell a story like no other, throughout your comedy sets, you will jump from one story to another, making people laugh, sit on the edge of their seat in suspense, or get angry, get disappointed even, together, at the themes you talk about (I'm talking about the government and ICE here not about your jokes or storytelling). And while listening to these stories, I often find myself thinking "Okay that's interresting and all, but what does that have to do with anything" just to later be hit with something like "They took our sister, do you see how a gang works?", finally completely understanding exactly what you were talking about and why. Your type of storytelling is amazing and I genuinely can't commend you enough for that. I appreciate how you mix these compelling stories in with your comedy, remaining funny throughout, but somehow catching all of us back into all seriousness with the way you treat these topics.
I really don't know what to write here, I am by all definitions of the word speechless. Even more so since I got mad at a government, that isn't even my own, got mad at issues that don't even remotely affect me.

Stay safe out there, you might be one of the best comedians and storytellers of our time

A friend can closer than family. Family can be worse than enemies. We chose to be born unto our family to solve past life issues, so that is really the only reason, so if they become friends, good however, not a guarantee.

I would have wanted to slap that whooping woman if she had been near me. Like have some common sense and decorum. I'm irritated and I'm not even there. We ALL know that girl… It's not a laugh, it's being drunk and obnoxious.

Wow. Josh, you are always hilarious and an excellent orator, but this particular performance is a masterclass in storytelling. That ending was deeply chilling, and this was an intellectually challenging listen, even for someone aligned with your views. I am deeply impressed. Thank you.

Right? Can't believe we're the only country in the world where illegal immigration is illegal? Like wow. Can't believe that. We should have open borders which isn't a Koch Brother corporate republican idea. That would be so awesome.

I know this video discussed some serious topics but I got so annoyed hearing that one person scream whenever anything happened. It's not even laughing or cheering, it's just screaming. At everything.

Sorry, couldn't even make it half way through coz of that one woman who never laughed but just "waaaaaaaaaaaoooouuwwww'ed" constantly. It's a comedy show, not auditions to be an emergency vehicle alarm ffs – it's seriously obnoxiously irritating.
    "waaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" – STFU! 🤯💥🔫

So y'all think that legality vs morality is the case. Why on earth do you think it's moral to let non Americans into this country, either illegal or legal and give them billions to defraud healthcare systems. That's stealing… Stealing is immoral.

I really like how you tied in your cousins tragedy to the tragedy of the country. Comparing the workings of street level gangs to the workings of the government was clever

I love Josh Johnson…In can't stand Josh Johnson's screeching audience. Can you not keep the mics away from the screaming assholes who need to make it about themselves??

I really like how you implement great messages into your comedy. Not just "haha this is funny tall kid" but "This kid lost his sister to a gang because this is a serious issue facing america right now"

Interesting, from what I have seen, all left-leaning comedians have only barely acknowledged the Somali fraud in California. This is what I don't understand, it's clearly fraud, so is this fraud politicised?

I grew up in northern New Jersey. Several of my classmates were from fresh immigrant families. I say fresh because i’m 4th gen on my mom’s side and 3rd gen on my dad’s. My classmates had parents who had to work to get here. The test alone is… look, about 10% of non-indiginous in the united states would be here if that test were mandatory for a citizenship. Our janitor in elementary school earned his citizenship one day and the whole school was ecstatic for him. So beautiful to see that much togetherness, if just for a day. I graduated and got a few jobs. Worked at a burger place where all the cooks as well as my manager were immigrants. I asked them to help teach me spanish and things went great! I also grew up reading Starship Troopers (if you can grit your teeth through his sickening level of Tips Fedora, the majority is spectacular thought-provoking philosophies), and in that the only way to earn citizenship was to prove you would go through anything for the people and the nation. I hadn’t felt like i deserved my citizenship even before that, so it really drove the nail in. I joined the air force to earn my citizenship because like hell would i be able to pass that test let alone the rest of that crap. Waiting for one of these shitty individuals to come up to me thinking i’d be on their side so i can just straight up: “You are part of the reason I apologize for my service.” I really do. I joined to disarm bombs, life reminded me that some dreams ARE dreams by throwing my shoulder out on the last pushup. Ended up a mechanic. Helped out one weekend prepping equipment for the Afghanistan refugees. But there’s more i can’t say. More that could pin me as a hero. More that would definitely pin me as a slouch. All of them were meant to be for a better future. A first-world world, where people leave each-other alone if they don’t want to share. A real fever dream. I was diagnosed with autism after i got out. All of it was in vain. I apologize for my service. Thank you, Josh, for providing the words some people need to hear and others don’t have the ability to say correctly.

As a Canadian I still love my American family. I just don’t condone your dysfunctional leadership. I love your comedy you’re very talented. ❤

Nicky story reminds me of the one time I connected softball to bat. I was determined. I was flying around the bases. The other kids were yelling. I thought they were cheering me. Was convinced I finally did it until everyone said I was out at first. I'm 75 now but I still swear I didn't feel it.
