The official, authentic Neapolitan pizza recognized by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana has only two traditional flavor variations: Marinara and Margherita. Ridiculous. Pizza is great with thousands of toppings. Flat bread and topping with sauce. Variety is the spice of life.

Controversial opinion, Canadians don't make good Italian food. Never had a soggy Napolitano style pizza before (in Italy or anywhere else). Maybe they make it that way for you because they know how much you guys like soggy french fries.

Southern Italians have their super specific way of making pizzas while Northern Italians are out here putting french fries, sausages and krauts on them

Italians are exceeeeeeedingly proud. They're still not over the Roman Empire and the Renaissance. I work with several dozen Italians in my work, and every single one of them, when they introduce themselves in a group setting, the first thing they say after their name is, "I aaam Itaaaalian," going up and down half-musically as they say it. The rest of us are trying our best to not immediately say, "We know. You're a guy named Andrea. Of course you're Italian. 🙄

Huh. Ms.Nolke, I've been watching you for years, years now — from the sex toys by mail, through COVID, marriage, kids, all of it. As a Torontonian, west-ender, Bloorstreeter and patron of the Arts, I think you're great, truly. The male actor, he was clearly pro, somewhere between Philip Seymour Hoffman and Paul Giamatti — nice mashup. Not sine your Black mailman have I seen a person of color on your vids. Why? Don't you live in the inner-city, do you not have POCs to pick from? Well, if not, I am throwing my hat in the ring. Please consider. As a Torontonian of 55 yrs, it's like watching Friends again….oh yeah, I never watched Friends.

Nothing beats the little personal pizza you'd get from the Book-It program at Pizza Hut alongside a red plastic cup of chocolate milk. If you grew up in the 80s, you know what I mean.

    Well….look ok… I'm Italian.
From Italy. What she's talking about is one thing….but not the other.
There are 2 types of pizza Napoletana:: one is the new version which is the one with the big crust and the soupy center. The other one is different, but always chewy.
The Roman style pizza is the crispy one. And if you go in every other regions it's very similar to the NY style. Then we have focaccia, sfincione, fried pizza.
    We have pizza for everybody.
…..I don't know what she's talking about toppings, we have tons.
Ps:: if you want to reward me, give me head. I'll fly to Canada, end of September I have my holidays.

Ok here we go. I’m gonna say it. We all know it but don’t want to admit it. Mom and Pop pizza is overrated. There I say it. Papa John’s would beat all of it in a blind taste test.

Best pizza is the butter chicken pizza and kheema masala pizza from Joey's Pizza in Mumbai. It's awesome. With lots of cheese. I don't know about neopolitan and all.

Finally, someone brave enough to say it out loud! I've been watching a bunch of food YouTubers, and when they make the "authentic Italian" style pizzas I'm never impressed.

I was in Italy for a couple of weeks. I hit a ton of different shops in several different cities. According to Italy, pizza is mozzarella cheese on unseasoned, congealed tomato juice on an unsalted saltine cracker.
Italians would absolutely SHIT themselves if they ever had good pizza. Goddamn Domino's would blow their minds.

I'm neither from Italy nor from anywhere in North America. I do agree that Italian – very specifically Napoletan – pizza leaves room for improvement, but that may very well be a matter of taste. But nothing I ever ate in the US comes even close, and that's no longer a matter of taste, it's a fact. Not all but most Americans have highly defective taste buds, burned by decades of chemicals added for a stronger but poorer and less pleasant taste. Whether you feed them actual baked dough, with the unavoidable added sugar, in the US, or some cardboard soaked in high fructose corn syrup then dried, it will be the same to them. Even with both on the table they'd barely be able to make the difference between pizza sauce and ketchup, if at all – and they'd prefer the worst ketchup, with lots of added glutamate, if they did. If they'd be able to sense basil in the sauce, they'd suspect it of being spoiled and throw it out. Their pizza is just like their taste. For someone used to real food, it doesn't even taste like food, let alone pizza.
