It is what it is – Wind Eagle

Sugar Shane Webster | September 28, 2026

Composed by Sugar Shane Webster

I composed this song a while back to show apriciation and respect to my brothers and sisters who were singing with me, representing as Wind Eagle then. As with many groups we had our share of good times and hardships. Many singers came and left, as I’m sure it is with other groups as well.

this song honors those of whom I call my brothers and sisters as they traveled and represented with me along my sining journey. it also continues to be a song to pass down to the next Gen as they also have brothers and sisters who sing and dance. Its also to remind us that we are still here, as Native people, thats just thd way it is.

hope you like this song and the message in it. videos are of my family and friends.

thank you.
