As a kid to 2 parents that are teachers, they maybe get like 2 weeks of actually no school work but most of the time they are still doing stuff for the next year

It's mostly outdated for me because I'm going to college after this summer and I am horrified of being treated like an adult. I almost burnt my house down making a burger, I'm not ready for that yet

For me school was a hostile environment. I would rather learn from my older relatives, & the internet than sit in class trying to listen to a teacher while dreading the bell which meant getting pushed around in the hall & having kids steal my lunch.

I need you to make a video about the Scholastic Book Fair. Not just the controversy revolving around them allowing schools to decide if they want to include diverse titles in their book fairs, though. I need somebody with the autism strength to deep dive into their placement of YouTuber (sometimes those controversially home"schooled" family YouTube channels) books. There's an FGTeeV guidebook that links their teenage daughter's TikTok on the back being sold in elementary schools alongside books that have guides on learning to stream video games. Maybe I'm tripping, but something about all that with the lack of actual teaching that is happening in schools right now makes me think Scholastic doesn't deserve our nostalgia. 👀
