    I completely get why MTG is escaping the MAGA pod and you should accept her and sympathize! She obviously got treated like crap by the GOP Boys who run the House and she’s SICK OF THEIR BS. she doesn’t respect Mike Johnson (who does?) and she, like many women in the work[lace, isn’t getting the respect and leadersip roles she should, so it OPENED HER EYES. When she said that she is now going to be dealing only with reality, she meant it. She now refuses to ignore certain facts which contradict the Maga belief system. We should all support her. One thing Democrats ironically don’t seem to get nowadays that Republicans do is how to build a coalition, a big tent. The Democrats used to be good at that (going WAAAAY back to the 70s), but like in many areas in politics, the Republicans are way ahead. Why? Because they’ve been trained to do this for years through the Coalitions for America/Free Congress Foundation/Heritage Foundation training grounds.

    I'll have to find a way to have the word "like" removed from the audio…

    After a few hundred "like", often with three or four in a single sentence, I just can't take it any more, and I need to stop or I'd go batshit.

    Evidently these superfluous "likes" are endemic to US females, so perhaps it's a good thing I'm living in Europe: because those speech mannerisms really rub hard to the point where it feels like bleeding from raw dangling flesh…

    And I could see myself lashing out just to stop the pain, if I couldn't just hit a stop button!

    The problem is, that I really love a lot of the content! But it's like watching an interesting engaging conversation under torture…

    As hard as we laughed at Arby’s-gate, I have a feeling her confrontation with Looner damaged whatever standing she had with тя☭mp. After that, she might as well say what’s on her mind.

    MTG is also the person who said NOAA steered Hurricane Helene into North Carolina. I saw one person comment in a post that MTG must have been visited by three ghosts to explain her recent pivots resembling a rational human being.

    Come on, she is just doing the jump ship routine without saying so when it comes to Trump. She is still a wolf in sheep's clothing. Maybe because she has finally started to listen she is actually seeing what its doing to her constituents. She has to appear to be doing something about it. She can talk all the talk she wants, until she uses her vote to make change, don't believe a word she says.

    Marge has realized the patriarchy of the republican party doesn't have place for her. They would prefer if she just sat there and stayed quiet and voted how she is told. The billionaires don't like her for various reasons. She is truly confused about how trump could just hang and deal with the billionaires, because his message has been populist. (Of course he was lying.) She has many terrible opinions. She still has the same basic stance on policies from when she got elected.
    I am curious if she would still proudly shout that she a Christian Nationalist.

    She's working on her image like she Used to work on her physique at that gym she owned… Because she's facing re election and has the rat smarts to know her original platform, being up the spewy orange B hole, isn't going to work.
    It's going to change her mind LESS than cardio and weight work which, at least, improve oxygen saturation.

    Marjorie did not marry a guy who owned a construction company, her father owned the construction company. She and her husband ran it together until she lost interest and got into crossfit

    Apparently Marge has refused to give a definitive answer about running for President in 2028. I really think we’ll win in 28 but if MTG ran then I think I’d have to seriously consider leaving the country, I’m not sure I could mentally handle Trump then MTG.

    Thanks, Alyssa, for the Baby Boom movie endorsement. I had never seen it before. Very sweet movie! Also read a touching trivia item on the IMDB website. The twins who played Elizabeth when they were babies attended one of Diane Keaton's book signings. When they asked her to sign their photo, she remarked she thought of them recently and wondered how they were. She looked up and made the connection they WERE the twins and embraces followed.
