Iran has a long history of civil disobedience, especially in recent years as political corruption has grown and the economic situation in the country has deteriorated. But Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the rest of Iran’s authoritarian leaders have survived all past attempts to undermine their control. Some observers are suggesting that this time may be different. Considering all of this, it begs the question, are we seeing a revolution happening before our very eyes?

    Don't kid yourself, the entire world is going thru a revolution because the entire world has been trapped and enslaved in one form or another by one group or another, especially the so called 'free countries' that really aren't. But in their attempt to strangle hold the world over the last couple of years, they essentially sealed their doom. You can only push a person so far, corner an animal so much, before they fight back for the sake of life and of living. Take heart, everyone, the dawn is breaking and the shadows are fleeing for their lives. In the very near future you will begin to see more and more the incredible wins that men and women will make all over the world against their oppressors. Be FREE! It is your human right. Much love to you all, be strong, the light is getting brighter every day

    This topic is out of the range for this channel.
    Many fake accounts of west here down in comments calling themselves iranian also.
    Also if iranian people have the problem with current government then why they revolted against previous one which was offering them western style of living. It clearly shows this is kindda propaganda.
    Also, the west has no right of saying into this matter.

    In recent years past, bread (food) was the main reason for uprisings leading to revolutions in countries other than the West. Today, fuel is the new consumable that people are publicly complaining about in the streets, online and in the media throughout the EU, UK and America. In addition to keeping your belly full, humans need to keep warm, cook and bathe with natural gas, and with gasoline and oil to transport themselves around their homestead so they can conduct their daily necessities of existence. Will fuel be the new commodity that becomes the cause of future revolutions throughout the West?

    I’m glad this video has highlighted what is happening in Iran but this video has not mentioned anything about how the role of religion is the main factor of this potential revolution. Yes economics and other factors play into this scenario but the radical Islamic government is the true source of strife and conflict in Iran. I wish this video was more focused on the problems with theocracy. There is a reason women are burning their hijabs. They are tired of religion running their lives and corrupting their government. Please speak honestly about these issues and don’t be afraid to criticize religion and the feedback that will come.

    A teenage girl doesn't understand geopolitics and haven't seen what happened to neighbors of Iran when they welcomed western forces in their country.
    There's a reason why most world leaders are old and conservative.
    They have wisdom and experience.
    Teenager just want to live with the trend.

    The powers that be would love nothing more than for Iran to collapse into civil war. They helped destroy libya and syria this way too. Its the next best thing to going in and destroying it yourself (Iraq)

    Watching the very first minute of this video made me cry.. Can't thank you enough for making this video and for being our voice. Although we're living in constant stress and fear for ourselves and our loved ones, but I can assure you the hope for our beautiful future is much more powerful !

    I hope the Iranian regime changes to democracy, or at least something more moderaten. However, even if it fails…
    People already have experience of peaceful and violent protests. When the next opportunity presents itself, there will be established connections, recognized leaders and understanding of what to do and what not to do. Poland kicked the communist regime out in 2 attempts, Russian revolution of 1917 was successful even though the revolution of 1905-1907 failed.
    If you feel like everything is doomed, there will be a second chance. A new opportunity will present itself eventually.

    Keep on fighting!

    That should not be a surprise. Revolutions are happening all over the world right now, look at, for example, the Naxal Uprising in India, or the National Democratic Revolution in the Philippines.

    Even if this round of nationwide protests is eventually snuffed out and suppressed, I think its safe to say the days of the Islamic Republic are numbered. It could be in 5 to 10 years, 30 years, 60 years, and etc but I have doubts the Islamic Republic will survive the rest of the century.

    Iran has faced nationwide unrest for the majority of the early years of the 21st century until now, with the trend starting with the 2009 Green Movement. Clearly the political sentiment of Iranian society is changing as the younger generation of Iranian millennial's and Gen Z have or are coming of age and have begun to become political conscious. The influence of the internet has had a tremendous impact on the thoughts and beliefs of these younger generations.

    You see we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We gave them so many chances to improve the country's situation but what did we get? Same BS every time. "It's the enemy." "It's all part of Israel's plans to destroy Iran."
