I used to LOVE Twisted Sister….. Saw them twice here in Brazil, had to travel to another state, but it was well worth it!!
But…………….. Since Dee Snider began positioning himself as a woke anti-Trump leftard, I just can't listen to their music anymore.
I removed all TS content from my iPhone, and I don't think this is gonna be changing anytime soon…..

Holy… I was literally staying a few blocks away from that gallery in NOLA where Bruce sang Priest when my dad and I were there in July! (Also, super hyped for the Twisted Sister reunion and the US Maiden dates, between that and Megadeth next year’s gonna be crazy)

Wasn’t there a bit of friction whenever iron maiden and Judas Priest toured together? I know that was a long time ago though, and everyone has grown up since then. I believe the first time it happened, maiden tried staring priest down during a sound check or something (this was back when Paul was in the band, possibly the kind of thing he would have led).

Candlemass reunited with Messiah last night for one show in Greece! It was absolutely amazing, felt like time traveling to 1989. Heavens gate also reunited for the first time in 22 years earlier in the day and also didn’t miss a beat

I don’t get the desire to see these old bands reunite. I love them and Twisted Sister especially was a key band for my entry to rock but it’s gotten to the point where it’s like being excited about seeing your grandfather mow the lawn as it’s the last thing from his youth he can do.

In other really awesome news, Bruce Dickinson is gonna be singing the United States National Anthem before an NFL game in Pittsburgh with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks, the game will be at 1 PM EST and Bruce will sing a bit before that!!! 🤘🤘

The biggest comeback of all: Acid Bath. Playing their first show in 28yrs this year. When they broke up the only quality footage was one music video. Now they are gonna tour Europe with System Of A Down. They are 10x more popular now than they were when they broke up and grew only by word of mouth. Both their albums are on YouTube, the two best metal albums ever made.

If Twisted Sister comes to Southern California, I'll go see them! I always regretted not getting to back in the 80s. Maybe they'll sneak in a few Widowmaker tunes too!!

I've always thought it's fine bands splitting profits equally as long as everyone contributes something equally. I know not everyone can write songs, but anyone can at least come up with an occasional riff, offer input into lyrics, arranging, etc. Or learn how to produce/mix. I personally wouldn't split royalty cost with some who didn't put any effort in, who just showed up for gigs. If there was 5 guys in the band and I was the sole song writer, and I had the burden of creating all the songs while the other 4 just waited around for me to finish then I would not give them any publishing. Ian Hill gets no publishing with Judas Priest, and that's fair because in 50 years he's never contributed a single song idea. I don't understand how anyone can play an instrument and never even come up with a riff while practicing?

People stop including this Yungblud into every heavy metal forum. He met Ozzy and had a brief interaction with him, he’s riding Ozzys death to elevate his career.
