as an Iranian I can tell you that islam is against women and their freedom. those who say islam gave women freedom are lying and its propaganda. when I was in highschool I would be sent to the principles office and humiliated just because I painted my nails or my nails were long. don't fall into the trap of "islam gave women freedom" islam took women's freedom and replaced it with patriarchy. I was raised in an islamic school, and I wasn't free or hade free will.
