   The movie Slenderman sucks, but the one that came before it was really fucking good. It transformed the mythos in a way nobody else was doing. You can argue wether that was a good decision or not, but it was unique in transforming the mythos. I loved the idea that those who peer too close into the Slenderman become Slenders themselves.

   as someone who grew up in oshkosh, I wanted to clarify it wasn't an abandoned hobby town, nor was it ever a craft store like a hobby lobby, it was being renovated and i believe the photo was on their website back in the day. The business is still open, and it does sell RC cars and stuff, but thats always been the case cause hobby town is a store for enthusiasts, mainly model planes, trains, and rc cars but also toys and other stuff. it was so weird hearing that store was where the pic came from cause I have a distinct memory of going there once as a kid and it wasn't creepy at all

   "Spooks" isn't a slur. It was a term used to describe spies, tho there was a VERY brief time (like a year or two at best) that the term was used to belittle black people but that trend died quick in favor of the other slur that also happened to be directed at black people.
