Infrasound: What You Can’t Hear CAN Hurt You

Benn Jordan | May 29, 2026

Our world is filled with inaudible sounds that a lot of research suggests is harmful to our health. I wanted to devise a way to hear it.

There's data center being built 1/2 mile from my home. I'm concerned about the ultrasound and possible harmful health effects. How do I start measuring now before it's operational?

We are living within a few kilometers of 2 large railroads, that converge on the area's industrial infrastructure, refineries, etc, there are also 2 major roadways. This area is a shallow bowl, near a major river. By now i can identify which one, source, company, engine, etc, woke me…..

THAT'S WHAT THAT IS?! I had this experience a while back, traveling with someone who needed the window open for his dog. I never experienced it in any other car with the same setup, but that time I did, and the throbbing was so awful that it caused vibrations to continue in my ear for several days and I was worried I'd severely damaged it. It's fine now, but coming back to this video again and hearing that phenomenon be given a name is both surreal and validating.

I am just wondering, now that they are pushing data centers everywhere in here in Finland, why is nobody talking about the potential infrasound threat they cause. Are all data centers emitting this sound or just certain types?

Thank you with my morning coffee. Better then church. That is why I never go into a city, avoid airports and stay close the mother nature. Great Research!!! I recently found these random speakers attached to my rental unit upper walls. They did not seemed to be connected to any controls, and the landlord "didn't know where they came from." So, I pulled them off the wall with the vision of perhaps there was some Infra-sound emanating from them… or at least could be turned on in some random event. Very weird. I secured the wires and installed place covers.

This was a tough video watch. Neat, but the noise is off putting.
Makes me think about your other video about plant growth and noise variants. Perhaps plant growth in certain places on earth grow better or worse, because of sound.

Great, first the 5G nonsense and now this… Pseudoscientific BS. I encourage anyone to actually read the studies this clown is citing and see for yourself if they really back up his claims (they don’t)

Hey Ben, doubt you'll see this but I have an idea. It might be a cool idea to test the area where they are planning to put the new mega datacenter in Utah for infrasound. Before, during, and after completion. It could possibly reveal results no one expected. I am always interested in new experiences and have vasts about of computer hardware experience. Would be happy to get the tech and reading myself to corroborate!

As European who lives in the US and travels back 1-3 a year I have noticed that something like a mental fog lifts when I am back home. Always wondered if there is something polluting the mind when in the states.

The Vic Tandy anecdote just makes me think of how many other haunted places could be considered haunted simply because of infrasound affecting peoples' eyes and making them feel uneasy.
