Indian Boarding School Discussion: Dealing with the Trauma Today
The first Indian Boarding Indian Discussions program will present an explainer video to provide an overview of the history of Indian boarding schools; an update on the U.S. Dept. of the Interior’s Federal Indian Boarding School Initiative; and a discussion with a panel of experts on Indian Boarding Schools and their effect on generations of Native Americans.

People should research the location of Native American boarding schools. We have one here in VA that is now Hampton University. People have no clue!

i ASKED FOR THE REMAINS FOR THE REMAINS OF A INDIAN FAMILY MEMBER THAT WAS ON DISPLAY IN THE ERIE, PA MUSUSEM. THEY DENIED ME THAT RIGHT AND LATER THEY CONTACTED ME TO SAY THEY GOT RID OF THE REMAINS.

I think this is a good thing. To look up all boarding school here in the US. To see what happen to our Tribal people's there. I am from the Coeur d'Alene Tribe's. And we had A big Boarding school on our Reservation(DeSmet). I know they had hundreds of thousands of kids going there. It would be nice for somebody to look up what went on there?? What a horrible, horrible thing that happened to these children, and parents, the pain these children went threw. God help these our precious native Americans.
