I’m so glad this hidden monorail broke down.

The Rapid Access Train is a suspended monorail beneath the Prince of Wales Bridge. Except that’s only half the story. | AD: 🌍 Get the best deal on NordVPN, including their next-gen antivirus: https://nordvpn.com/tomscott | 🗺️ England series map: https://www.tomscott.com/england/

Wow, the view from the top is fantastic. I am familiar with such a view. I was in trade school working on Wind Turbine degree. Standing on top at just 300 feet, I had a similar view.

Such a great video, Scott. Thanks to all those gentlemen keeping that amazing bridge in tip-top shape. Although, I do wish they could’ve shown the cable stays and explained how they inspect and maintain them. That must be a serious undertaking, especially when heavy work is required, like changing one out due to damage or wear and tear. Still, it was an amazing experience!

Gosh. To know that guy worked there all his life. THATs a career I want! Something you truly love! How cool!!!!! Megastructures are absolutely fascinating

I am an American civil engineer (who does not work on bridges) and this is one of the most fascinating videos I have ever seen. Very forward thinking to prioritize easy and safe structure maintenance (and I about died at the little break room inside the tower).

When a video starts it seems to be an okay "callback" episode and then turn into a great episode. Also with beign highup. When i started working at a builtsite of a skyscraper in Sweden i realised that my fear of height disapeared when i passed 30M. Cause after that its to high up to realise it.
