    Couple things to clarify –
    1. This video was filmed on August 10th. Penny has since recovered fully from her surgery and there’s an update about her health on Nick’s channel but a warning – the news is not good.
    2. We already moved since filming this video and are mostly settled in da new crib 😊
    3. Yes, the bird came with us. She rode in the car for 6 hours (she was NOT caged) and it was a bit rough but she made it and she loves her cool new room.
    4. I will absolutely let all of you know when I have a gig and when the music is dropping, don’t worry!
    5. Sorry if I scared you with the title. I thought it was compelling. But it’s also true 😅 lol
    6. No, I am absolutely not quitting YouTube.

    Love you all!! LEGGOO🎉🎉

Discovered your channel very recently and I can already say I’m a fan.
You are a good person and you make me laugh.
Also you are welcome to perform in Switzerland anytime. 😬🤘

OK that was a lot Robin.

It’s pretty close, girl. I lived in St. Louis, also in Minneapolis, for college and grad school. I’m from Seattle. I literally went to Seattle because of the art, Washington University in St. Louis, has one of the “best” art schools in the world, as do you have one of the best art museums in the world. So the real reason to leave, wouldn’t be because of a lack of art and music, but because you grew up there; it’s so hard to grow, at times, as a person, unless you take some time away from what you know, and gain a new perspective. St. Louis has more artists than you can count, but being from there, you won’t feel it, necessarily. I had to leave Seattle to appreciate it (not the politics, the actual place itself) I got stuck in Spain for lockdowns, and didn’t return to the states until 5 years later. The weight thing, yes, it is all about a change in our approach to life, not a diet, but a realization that it can’t be this all or nothing proposition. Human beings don’t respond well to that kind of shaming, forcing, all or nothing approach. It’s like an addict counting days. Don’t count days. Do your best, every day, and when you don’t, start where you are, and do your best in that moment. Also, you have to realize at some point, that we kind of don’t like the crappy food as much as it seems like we do. How we feel after we eat it, and our motivation for eating it, and realizing how bad it makes us feel, usually does the trick. We often award ourselves with some indulgence, when we aren’t doing enough of the small stuff, every day, for ourselves, not to need to.

Nashville is suddenly a little cooler now. I only usually think about sappy country music, cowboy hats on 16 naked cowboys, and a head with tig 'ol bitties wearing a cowboy hat. I know that isn't exactly an accurate assumption but it's there. Now my mind's sight sees a talented in the way I appreciate pretty darn funny human with a humble personality, and not some annoying cow poke riding a horse through Nashville being cringe. That place is only getting better now thanks to you.
Edit: You can even be a girl with tig 'ol bitties wearing a cowboy hat and I wouldn't even be mad.

Glad y'all chose a "Southern" State to relocate, young locals are creative and "down-to-earth"/easy to talk to— much like S. Carolina is the "hip" Southern State that FL WISHES she was🫣🤓

Um…. PLS sing, spark and charm some SOUL or LIFE into the Boomer/Gen X locals b/c, woman to woman, their is NO life behind their eyes AKA lights r on, no one's home kinda deal. You'll see it in the ones rocking on front porches [as ya drive residential]

The terrain is obvi BEAUTIFUL THO, STOKED FUR Y'ALL— Jus PLEASE, last note, keep away from those Appalachians >dusk…. Y'all know. Their plenty's of lore and literally unwritten rules n regs for those ancient woods

i feel like you have so much range that you could be like Beck and make vastly different albums each time (including comedy music please) .. you could start a spotify by just putting all the comedy tracks youve already done

& i dont think of you as an "influencer" i would say youre a Creator. so, doors wide open baby

    Congratulations, Jaime!

I know I’m like a month late, but I feel like you need to know our family lore about Nashville.

My stepdad used to travel there for business. He was a very sweet, Southern gentleman. One time he traveled there with a business associate (also a sweet, Southern gentleman).

The associate asked how much longer they’d be driving because he needed to make a stop. My stepdad tells him they have 30 minutes until they’re in Nashville. The associate says that should be fine, but… 10 minutes later…

“I’m not going to make it to Nashville.”

So that is now how we say we have to poop in my family. I’m sure my stepdad is giggling in the afterlife about it.

Here’s hoping you do make it to Nashville.

    Good for you Jamie!
I don’t comment on your videos too often (it’s nothing against you at all, I just rarely comment on YouTube videos in general because I feel like people don’t really care about what I have to say 😅), but I just really want to commend and congratulate you for taking these big steps! I truly think you won’t regret it, especially your move!

I was born and raised in South Florida, but ever since I was a kid, I always knew I wanted to live somewhere else. I always felt like I just didn’t really belong or fit in living in FL. I never really knew where to go though, and I really didn’t want to leave my friends and family behind, just like you.
When I was 25, I began dating this guy; but about 5 months into the relationship, something urgent came up in his life, and long story short- he had to suddenly move away to Colorado Springs, CO. We hadn’t really been together long enough for me to feel comfortable with uprooting my life and going with him. He understood that, and ultimately we decided to try out a long distance relationship.
About a month after he left FL, I went to visit him in CO. I had planned to stay there in CO for about 3 weeks. On only the second day of visiting him in CO, he (very ironically) dumped me via a text message… 😂 while he was at work and I was back hanging out at his house. It was very unexpected, and I didn’t see it coming.
I packed up all my stuff as fast as I could, as I wanted to be long gone before he got back from work. I ended up wandering around Colorado Springs on foot for about 10 miles (I wasn’t familiar with the area at all and didn’t know where to go or what to do), carrying all my belongings on my back in a large backpack.
Luckily, I eventually reached the downtown area, and found a Hilton I could stay at. I walked in and booked a room, and planned my now solo 3-week long trip in CO.
As horrible as that situation was, it ended up being the best trip of my life. I fell in love with CO Springs. I met so many wonderful people, and I felt so comfortable there. I just knew it was where I wanted to be. When it was time to go back to FL, all I could do was cry, I did not want to leave CO. After that trip, I spent another 4 years in Florida, wishing I could move to CO, but not being able to muster up the nerves to do it.
Finally at 29, I was able to gather the courage to do it, and I made the move to CO, and never looked back. Don’t get me wrong, it was hard moving so far away, to a place that was so drastically different; but ultimately the only regret I have is that I didn’t move to CO sooner. It was the best decision I ever made. I love it here so much.
Don’t let anything stop you from doing what you dream of. I wish you the best of luck on your move Jamie! And I promise you won’t regret it! 🙂 Best wishes from Colorado Springs, CO.

I feel like your are not really leaving everything, but chasing and discovering EVERYTHING you've been missing 🥹✨️ I've been watching your videos and following you since your make-up videos and watching you exploring what you like as a creator, finding the courage to do what you really wanted to do (comedy) has been such great, emotional and joyful. I started therapy 5 years ago and so much has changed for the best in my life since, I feel everything you say about finding the courage to do new things and building confidence in yourself to a deep level. Even if we don't know one another in real life, I am really proud of you and the work you did on yourself, on a creation and personal level. Your content is just getting better and better and it is truly beautiful to see you thrive and pursue your happiness. You deserve it gurl, GO GED'IT 💕✨️ PS: If you ever do another show/tour come to eastern Canada please, will you? 🙏🏻
