I’m in Law Enforcement. Here’s Why I No Longer Support Trump

More Perfect Union | September 21, 2025

These correctional workers voted for Trump. Now they feel betrayed. Trump tore up union contracts for nearly a million federal workers — including them. “I voted for [Trump] because he was pro-law enforcement, pro-union. And it’s just not turned out that way.”

More Perfect Union’s mission is to build power for working people. Here’s what that means:

We report on the real struggles and challenges of the working class from a working-class perspective, and we attempt to connect those problems to potential solutions.

We report on the abuses and wrongdoing of corporate power, and we seek to hold accountable the ultra-rich who have too much power over America’s political and economic systems.

If you're in law enforcement, I don't care what you think. LEOs are narcissistic pieces of shit. Did you know that more cops die by sewerside than by any other cause? Even they know they're pieces of shit.

The reason this guy can't find another job is obviously intelligence based 😂😂😂
Pretty hard to have sympathy for anyone working in the prison for profit business.

Will MAGA ever learn that Trump does not give a s–t about people like them. Other than himself, Trump only cares about people who can do something for him. Once these MAGA voters put him in the White House, they were no long of any use to him.

This is propaganda and opposite. BIG GOV SUCKS… Bloated inefficient overpaid under worked. HE ADMITS HE HAS NO SKILLS TO GET JOB (at his pay) AND GOV IS WORK WEALFARE… " learn to code".

I'd almost feel bad for this guy, except he fell for trumps lies like every MAGA and when the lies directly effect him now suddenly it's a problem. If he had done an ounce or research into Trump he wouldn't have bought the lies in the first place. Since when the hell has any millionaire or billionaire cared about blue collar workers or giving unions more power? Or anyone other than themselves for that matter? This is why letting a so called "business man" into the white house was a terrible idea. Among other things.

Since beginning his second term in January 2025, President Trump has implemented several policies aimed at benefiting law enforcement officers. He signed an executive order in April 2025 titled “Strengthening and Unleashing America’s Law Enforcement,” which expanded legal protections for officers, including access to nearly $1 billion in pro bono legal defense for those sued or prosecuted in the line of duty. The order also directed federal resources toward boosting police pay, training, and benefits, and encouraged harsher penalties for crimes against officers through laws like the “Thin Blue Line Act.” Trump also reversed Biden-era reforms by eliminating the federal police misconduct database and restoring access to surplus military equipment under the 1033 program. His administration strengthened cooperation between local police and federal immigration enforcement through ICE’s 287(g) program and penalized sanctuary cities that refused cooperation.

Dude, Republicans have been the anti-union party since Reagan. That’s over 40 years. So, if you’ve voted Republican your whole life, you’ve been voting against your personal, economic interest FOR DECADES. 🙄🙄🙄

Whatever. What are Democrats supposed to do for you? I think the state of Kentucky entire Congressional delegation is represented but the GOP. Moreover, Republican voters voted out every single representative that pushed back against Trump, replaced them with sycophantic lackeys, and now they don’t understand why their representatives are more loyal to Trump than they are to the idiots who elected them.

Hes so full of shit, if Trump somehow goes up for re-election he'll put on his red hat, Trump flags and ask to vote for him twice. Theres no redemption for these people. If you couldnt see the miserable, backstabbing snake he was before 2016 then its impossible for you to reverse course now, no if, ands or buts.
