Iggy Pop’s New Song Is A Banger!

Justin Hawkins Rides Again | January 6, 2026

He’s back and with a bang! Iggy Pop has just released a new song called “Frenzy” with Duff McKagan and Chad Smith and it’s awesome! Or at least I think it is. I’d love to know what you think though, am I correct?

My first experience with Iggy was when I was 15 he was a couple years older. I was at a show in Detroit and the Stooges opened for the headliner. I had missed their performance by a few minutes. This guy came up to me and grabbed my belt buckle which also caused his hand to go down inside my pants. I was put off but he was apologetic. He took my hand and said "come on" so I did. He pulled me into the dressing room at the front of the ballroom. We wound up talking for a long time mostly about music. He was very sweet. He said we had the same eyes, we did. He kissed me and I got a little scared. I told him I had to find my friends and said goodbye. Ironically much later my husband opened up for him a couple times. I was surprised when Iggy remembered me. He's a great guy.

Stop acting like you didn't look up the chords and lyrics. LMAO! Sorry, man, but, you remind me of me. I'm constantly grabbing my Schecter to rock along with whatever vid is catching my ear. Iggy is a constant here. I will adore him until the day I die. And that might not be far off as I am ancient punk granny. No one understands me, waaaa.

Taylor Swift has her fake composer friend Antonoff she brings everywhere in. Actually, it's Russian-Ukrainian surname. That's because the real one is from former USSR. He is in a shadow. He created 'H'

The greatest loss in music history is the third Stooges album for Elektra that never happened. The songs were lost forever other than some shoddy recordings of the live set. The riffs were absolutely bestial. And the second Columbia album that never happened. Imagine Open Up And Bleed and Cock In My Pocket in the follow up to Raw Power. James Williamson's Relicked was better than nothing but a poor substitute too many years too late. The music industry in the early 70's was deaf to the greatest rock and roll band in history. Ignorant bastards.

He's famously the guy who said, "fuck it, slicing my chest up with a broken bottle live on stage seems like a fun thing to do." Man I miss Michigan. The longer I'm on the East coast, the more I miss the Midwest brutality of life.
