Its insane that we live in a world where the usa/gov thinks that its be graceful by allowing the ppl that were ALREADY here 'citizenship' along with the ppl that were forced here on slaveships, not to mention the ppl's of the "acquired" through an illegal war and landgrabs are now 'illegals' then to turn around and call the beginnings of this nation "christian".

I have a “love-hate” opinion of Edward Curtis. Not because of his work itself, but because the uneducated assume that all Natives have to look like SW tribal people or they aren’t Native. Eastern Woodland tribes never widely had black hair and were pale (not like white people, although some can be with freckles) unless we go out in the sun in the summer. Being woodland people, we’re historically in quite a lot of shade even outdoors.

1924 Congress passed that native peoples are birthright citizens as well as tribal citizens…dual.

Tribal AmerIndians born within U.S.A.-controlled land didn't qualify to be U.S. citizens under the 14th Amendment due to them not being subject to the [complete/absolute/exclusive] jurisdiction of the U.S.A. (as specifically mentioned in this Amendment); however, decades later, in 1924 U.S. Congress took action that made such AmerIndians – from that time forward – U.S. citizens; so, nowadays all AmerIndians from U.S.-based Tribes are U.S. citizens (upon reaching adulthood one becomes a full-fledged U.S. citizen, as technically, minors are never considered full-fledged citizens regardless of parentage).

Mr. Fletcher lied by omission regarding "birthright" citizenship; for, he didn't include the qualifying clause of the 14th Amendment in his reference to it (which is a very disingenuous thing to do as citizenship hinges upon that factor & to ignore that factor is to misinform/disinform).
The clause is, "…& subject to the jurisdiction thereof [in reference to the jurisdiction of the U.S.A., that is]…;" for, folk either visiting the U.S.A. or else illegally here in the U.S.A. are not subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S.A., but rather they are still subject to a foreign gov't or foreign ruler – & cannot be considered otherwise under U.S. law unless & until a naturalization process has been satisfied.
