Tim Miller, from The Bulwark, interviewed Tim Walz earlier this week and he had something interesting to say about Vance. He said that, during their debate, JD's lies "had no tell." Normally, Walz said that sort of thing isn't an issue. What I inferred from that is that is one more piece of evidence that JD Vance is a true sociopath. We really need to find a way to de-insentivize these kind of people from getting into leadership positions.

If you like competency porn, I really recommend the TV show Leverage and the reboot Leverage Redemption (with Noah Wyle). It's about a group of thieves who team up to help regular people who got screwed over by the system and greedy millionaires. Involves a lot of heists and hot people being really good at what they do, found family and rich assholes getting what they deserve. I just wished that they existed in real life to take on every one of the current administration.

I saw a youtube video in Minneapolis showing a 911 call because Ice was trying extract a delivery driver from someone's house & the police told the caller (US citizen) that the police were not coming. They advised her to turn the driver over to Ice.

ICE isn't waiting. We've got ICE sightings of roving SUVs all over town. There is a NextDoor hourly on-line thread where people "blow the whistle" on specific neighborhood sightings. People in Phoenix are mostly laid back, and also people in Phoenix can ramp up to kick-your-ass in a nano second….and many are armed. If you kick in a Phoenician's door, they may very well blow your head off, kick your body out onto the porch, wait for 20 minutes for you to bleed out, and THEN call an ambulance to remove your corpse.

12:18 maga unfortunately has created an incompetent and dangerous higher authority than police- highway patrols actually have higher authority than police and deps (police are city municipalities, sheriff deps are county municipality & hey patrol troopers handle state jurisdictionā¦) its jurisdictionally fucked because ice is technically the boss on any scene.

Itās telling how the incident was framed when a white woman was shot merely for existing. In contrast, people of color have faced this same kind of extreme violence for centuries in a country founded on white supremacy, an injustice deeply embedded in U.S. history and woven into its very fabric.

Next president needs to bring back Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS), eliminate ICE, and put the enforcement back with CBP. WE DON"T NEED ICE.

In DeKalb, Illinois I was chatting with a Mexican woman. The sheriffās deputy was asking about a missing person. I asked him if they were going to protect us from ICE. He said, āYes we will.ā Thank the lord I live in Illinois.
