“Up to”… Especially sad when you remember that Apple during the Steve Jobs years was known for it straight talk about the performance of its products. You could always absolutely rely on what they said or wrote was what you got. Under Tim Cook even in this area Apple has evolved, in a bad way.

Do you think that the MacBook Neo is a good pick for someone that only listens to books and podcasts? I wanna buy it as gift for my mom that is completly blind because of the “voice over” feature that it got. It’s one of the best accessibility features on the market. And she’s obviously not gonna game or do heavy tasking. But I wanna give her some independence but sadly I’m not rich to buy the pro version

Hopefully Apple can keep Mac prices the same when the design is not changing. I’m glad they bumped the storage on the MacBook Pros up for just 100 dollars it used to be 200 dollars

This isn’t a good comparison video. Arun should understand that he is comparing laptops, not mobiles.
Laptops are mostly used for working so the whole comparison video should be around how those are used. Wobbling lid (come one who cares for it).
Drop test was also impractical of testing the machines.

I was wondering if you ever donate or give away some of the stuff you review and I thought I could ask you to please donate to me any MacBook you no longer use after the review.
I am a South African student who was granted the opportunity to pursue my PhD studies in Hungary and have recently been slowly( saving up/ working hard) to get myself into the apple ecosystem.
I would really appreciate getting a newish donated laptop but I am working on saving for one if you cannot.

60hz phone for $600 is just dumb. No excuse at that price point. Same with the iPads, or the Macs. 120hz should be the standard in these price ranges.

Just a recommendation for your team: Don't upgrade their M1-M2 Max now, just 3-months later there's gonna be redesigned MacBook Pros (every 5 generations later) on 2nm chips and possibly with better repairability like the Neo because of EU's deadline by 2027. If you could wait for 2027 with N2P chips then that would be even better with better reparability because of EU where you could've 3rd party solutions for storage expansions like 16TB SSDs. However, your office could get the M5 Ultra Mac Studio this WWDC instead.
