    Why is calfskin leather so valued? I'm no vegan or complete animal rights activist but that doesn't seem right to be using leather from calves. Doesn't make me feel good.

    Before you say 'oh it feels better than regular leather' I'm pretty sure that you can make synthetic, cheaper fake leather which feels just as nice.

    23:29 I love how these are far more expensive than the “best” headphones (maybe not best but certainly most expensive) on the market, the Sennheiser HE-1, and they probably don’t match some headphones under $1000- 😂

    i wonder if the headphones with all these gems might even be worth it. Yes the tech will degrade probably within a year or two, but them gems shoudn´t depreciate in value, might even go up.

    Luxury is when you do everything possible in order to not pay taxes just so you could blow it on 5 dollar tech covered with tacky cheap gold plating and ugly jewelry that is overpriced by 10000000000000000000000x .

    Yeah so like. If you're paying that much money for a fountain pen, it should not be that uncomfortable or have that much feedback. An actual good fountain pen from a trusted fountain pen brand is like. Half that price and will serve you extremely well. The Novium Hoverpen Future seems like an overpriced pen with a fancy stand for stupid rich people (not that you are ome, I'm just assuming that's their demographic). Also about the 18k gold nib, gold nibs are actually pretty standard for high end fountain pens, and it's not just for looks. Gold is a really good material for fountain pem nibs. It's not about being needlessly fancy. However, it does not mean that it would raise the price of the pen that much. You can get an amazing fountain pen for under 200$, you just have to know your shit about fountain pens. That pen is not remotely worth 700… A Lamy 2000 is about 220$ and has a 14k gold nib coated in platinum. It's about half the price of the pen, and the pens in particular in hand-assembled, but even then their budget pens are wonderful. I have a Lamy ABC which is literally made for school children to learn to write, it's the best pen I've used. Anyway the moral here is you got got and that company absolutely knew they were way overcharging for a subpar product
