I realize I didn’t explicitly spell out what and what not to eat. This video is the beginning of a much larger conversation (that will be expounded on in later vids). You can get omega-3 from foods like spinach or other leafy greens. However, handfuls of spinach won’t do much in the average American diet, of which consists
of outlandish amounts of omega six primarily through seed oils. The goal of this video is to call atten

Heathy animal fats are a life saver! I had so autoimmune issues & food reactions until I went on the Carnivore Diet & upped my healthy fats & ditched seed oils. 💖

Modification food sounds modern but it harmful to our bodies because our bodies can’t breakdown fast from substance added into our food when it processed.

Natural food is no longer 100% natural like seeds we sell in the stores due to genetic modified so our crop get more or pest resistant. Hummm…are we toasted like toast avocado.

I find to be healthy is to avoid packaging foods like processed food with high unhealthy fat, sugar and sodium. Just stick to basic by eating more fresh vegetables, lean meat and minimum carbs so our muscles is not at lost and AVOID fast food because they are cooked in oil we do not know how old and oil cooked at high temp over period of time can damage your cell and cause heart disease and cancers.

I got an even better way for people to lose weight and keep it off:

    >>Eat REAL Food, just like the type long before it was called "Organic."

    >>No Soy, No GMZero, NOTHING PROCESSED in a Laboratory nor, a CONveyor belt.

    >>Only Single Ingredient Foods, Herbs & Spices not laden with SALT/SUGAR.

    >>Speaking of Sugars, Coconut Sugar/Raw Turbinado/REAL Honey are fine in MODERATION.

    >>Gardening/Farming … DAILY. or other body moving work.

    >>Fats – Coconut/Olive oils, Beef/Chicken/Duck/Sheep Fats.

    >>Being in LOVE & SEXERCISE. Need I say More? That E.D. Problem will heal with proper Diet.

    >>Bigger Families. Why?? One good reason is, because 7 out of 8 Members ate their fair share, not getting 2nds of plates of food.

Been carnivore (diet) for 15 months. Dropped 60+ pounds, HBA1C down to 4.7, triglicerydes, HDL in range; slightly high LDL (but only by guideline standards; well within healthy range by 'sane' standards), and have enough energy for myself and three others. Ain't never going back!

I'm still confused about what to replace the canola oil with? Should I use Avocado Oil or Refined Coconut Oil? I've tried researching it but I'm running in circles because I seem to be missing something but I don't understand what I'm missing!? My research shows that Avacado is better for high heat but the Refined Coconut won't break down as fast so it could be better for normal frying? So based on your research in this video, which should I choose to lose weight?

So, your animation at around the 14:00 mark makes it seem like glucose in the blood and insulin in the blood are two separate things. But. My understanding is that insulin carries the glucose through the blood and deposits the glucose into the glut-4 receptor. Is that not what's happening? What specifically is insulin's role otherwise? And how did every single cell in my body decide to start rejecting insulin over just a couple weeks?

I lost a lot of weight via reducing carbs increasing fibre, protein and fats relative to carbs and increasing exercise. Did great except for the last few inches of abdominal fat. My type 2 went into remission, and my blood pressure is now perfect. I can’t achieve my final end goal but that is probably a good thing because it keeps me from getting complacent.

As I see it I’ll be annoyingly counting calories and steps for the rest of my life just to stay only barely overweight. The options this information seems to provide is to spend all my free time peeling, and chopping and boiling and baking things to avoid the convenience of processed foods or start my own food processing empire so I have the option of avoiding seed oil. These options are so unpleasant as to make counting calories and steps for the rest of my life less annoying by comparison. So… thanks. 😂

Excellent video, ty! You still haven't looked at the harm hydrogenated fats do… possibly because americans would rather die than give up their creamers…ROFL

So if I continue to eat the same amount of calories I do now, but increase my omega 3 intake and decrease my omega 6 intake … what happens? Do I lose weight? Maintain? Where does the extra energy go for people that have the correct level of omega 3, if not stored as fat? Excreted as waste?

I do love my salmon…I do often cook with veg oil, but I also…ahem…have bacon fat and olive oil. this does give me more to think about in my weight loss struggles.

Interesting but I wish you had included the amazing Blue Zone studies and Nurse study. Blue Zones are small populations that have longer life spans than other areas. For example one Blue Zone is in Loma Linda California .. it is a seventh day Adventist vegetarian population and they live much longer than their counterparts both of which are in heavily populated southern Calif. I’d like to see you do a dive into that subject please

It's being ignored because telling people it's all just CICO, and shaming people for being fat is a multi-billion dollar industry. Sure you it's also killing the "geese", but in this scenario there are always more geese, but if you fix the problem they stop being profitable.

Seed oils are not the problem – they're legit good for us – IN MODERATION. Note that the tuna oil was added to the safflower oil. It wasn't a straight replacement.

First, hormesis is the phenomenon of something being beneficial within a specific range, with a drop off in benefits to straight-up harm. Some seed oil brings strong benefits, but with a rapid drop-off when we go over some threshold (which varies based on personal profile: sex, age, and ethnicity mix).

The second part – nations where they don't mix heavy carbs and heavy fats in the same meals have lower obesity and lower diabetes. Our ancestors rarely had the opportunity to have both at the same time

Excellent presentation, good sir. It's a confusing and complicated subject and you made it very easy to follow the 'story'. Now to dig into just what we need to do to nudge Omega 6 to one side a little bit so more Omega 3 can get a seat at the cell wall 🙂

We’re being overloaded with refined sugars—something humans never consumed in excess before the industrial age. Keep sipping your soda and eating sugar-coated cereals, then keep wondering why you’re gaining weight.

Thank you for this very important information. More Omega 3 fatty acids required for optimum cell membrane function.
From the book The Queen of Fats by Susan Allport, I deduced that we should have one Omega 3 fatty acid molecule for every two Omega 6 fatty acid molecules. Sadly, the food processing industry has ignored this requirement because Omega 6 fats have a long shelf life and Omega 3 fatty acids don't. The key recommendation that I got from Queen of Fats is to increase greens in our diet – Omega 3 is made by the green/growing parts of all plants. I think it's a mistake to focus only on fish oil supplements as a source of Omega 3; the tuna got their Omega 3 from plants they consumed in the ocean.

On a sidenote, I've been on the carnivore diet for over two years now, nothing but meat and eggs and a little bit of cheese if it's clean. I got to my healthy weight in about six months, and I have just stayed there happily.

Huh… this makes me wonder if the real reason fasting improves insulin sensitivity isn’t directly the fasting itself, but the absence of seed oils during the fasting period. Hmm…
