Your dad would be proud of you, not just for this video, but for all that you do!
And you should be proud of yourself too! 🙂

I was thinking of my dad the other day and wondered "what would Dad say his favorite music was?" and yep, the answer was Neil Diamond. I'm lucky I wasn't drinking something when you said that about "everybody's dad" because I would have done a spit-take.

You rated them; you didn't rank them.
Still, very cute.

Although they’re not album covers, I love every picture of Judas Priest ever taken. The leather, the spikes/studs, the facial expressions, Rob Halford on a motorcycle… Amazing.

My mum's favourite is Neil too. I took her to see him in Manchester a good while ago. It was a great night. This is a lovely tribute to your dad and crazy album covers in general!! Cds are less fun!! That song tho…girl you'll be a woman soon. Super ick!!

I’m old so I remember seeing Hot August Night in record stores and I was always wondering: WTF?!? There has to be some story behind it, so I took to the Internet but alas no explanation. If anyone knows I’m dying to find out. The closest I could find was from a Rolling Stone review of the album: “At this point I’ll just quote directly from Lester Bangs’s review of Hot August Night from the March 15, 1973, issue of Rolling Stone: “He’s pantomiming whanging his clanger, and from the look on his face I’d say he’s about to shoot off, and the only bogus part is that he’d like everybody out there to think it’s 13 inches long.”

I'd suggest Neil Sedaka, but I just pulled up some images of his albums and they're pretty boring.

I inherited my Dad's vinyl collection too after his passing. Lots of Elvis.

This was far too entertaining, I demand you get straight to the car boot sales and purloin similar for every recording artist from approx. 1960, minimum of 7 albums released 😂
Serenade album cover is pure Matt Berry, and we're back to WWDITS.

I’m cry laughing so hard. I always used to laugh about Neil Diamond, but then he did a PBS special which I accidentally got sucked into and couldn’t tear myself away from, hahaha. Your video is amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a very little kid, I thought the cover of Hot August Night was a pregnant woman about to have a baby in a paddock on a stormy night.

What if Neil Diamond started collecting 10-cent pieces?

Please tell me there's a thread somewhere, where people just photoshopped huge leather jackets on Niel Diamond album covers. THEY MUST FEED

3:29 I don't know; this looks more like a David Bowie album than a Neil Diamond album.

This is such a cute video, and highlights why your videos are so great in general. You're so perceptive of everything, and the way you can spin things humorously always has me laughing.

Roger Alan Wade: "That's not Neil Young that's Neil Diamond"

Hey Roses. I watched and loved this video when it was posted. A few days after it was posted, my own dad died. It was not expected. I'm going to be going through his records (along with everything else he owned). This video made me feel a bit lighter about what's happened.

I found the connect-the-dots album in the dollar bin a few years ago, and somebody did an absolutely awful job. They used a pen that must have ran out of ink halfway through and so they started using a new pen with a DIFFERENT COLOR.

I recommend picking up The Greatest Hits: 1966 – 1992 compilation. It has a live version of Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show that absolutely slaps.

I always feel bad for Neil Diamond. He was never going to be the best musical Neil.
