A lengthy retrospecticv/history of warhammer games during the 90s would be awesome

I honestly don't get why they even bothered to include the og DoW in this because DoW just very recently had a very good new port for PC.

I'l getting absolutely hammered with adverts for this collection despite the last warhammer game i played being a demo of 1993's space hulk which I had no idea how to control and always immediately lost.

Big warhammer guy since 93, never played a single videogame. No idea why. Space marine 2 has dropped on plus so I guess that will change.

I played Space Hulk on the Amiga in the early 90s. I was terrible at it.

Never got into warhammer fantasy. Im stone cold loyal to 40k. I just never got that into warhammer fantasy, which is weird cos i fuckin love shit like zelda and the elderscrolls,forgotten realms etc etc. Im gonna give this collection a chance a try and get into warhammer fantasy. Ive got boltergun 1,2,space marine 1 and 2, gladius,hired gun etc etc. The 40k universe is by far one of my most trusted and treasured fiction fandoms. I absolutely love 40k. I have a half sleave on my left shoulder and upper arm of the emporer surrounded by ultra marines feeding it to horus. And i have the adeptus mechanicus seal ink on my throat.

These games never clicked with me, but thanks for the detailed overview.

SNEG is maybe the only good force in the industry right now
tho not all releases go smoothly, they LITERALLY PUBLISHED GAME CANCELLED for 20 years

I have a hypothesis that Space Hulk was the most successful Warhammer PC game because it didn't mention Warhammer anywhere on the cover of the box.

Video for most of the Mark of Chaos and Man O War game sections are busted btw.

Also pretty disappointed to see what amounts to a 2 hour paid advert for releases of games that have been on GOG for ages. Was hoping for better content after your move to your new workshop digs.

Just because some of these aren’t available on Steam, doesn’t mean you can’t already buy them on GOG. Just for info.

Otherwise, I’m all for preservation and giving people another choice for playing them on modern hardware.
