    The problem with phones for the elderly is the response. I find my 77 year old mother has no trouble at all using a flagship device rather than a cheap & nasty slow device

    1:54 As a cobbler please do not put your shoes in the washing machine, even if the box says you can.

    It's really not good for the glue that holds your shoes together. Id say about 70% of my gluing jobs come from people who put their sneakers in the washing machine.

    Omg, those sound panels made a massive difference! I'm an audiophile and it takes a lot to impress me, makes me think… imagine a room completely covered in them panels, how would that sound?? 😮

    Wow, that To-Do list at 32:10 looks crazy…. Who starts the day that early, for starters, but then you add an ice bath, 9k star jumps and TWO ice showers before they even have any breakfast….. insane!

    Those glasses are just 2 circular polarizer lens filters mounted on a very basic eyewear frame. Circular polarizers aren't terribly cheap, but it does have an advantage over transitions lenses. Transitions don't darken in a car.

    6:19 That's literally just two pol-linear filters used in photography, slapped on a glasses frame… Hilarious idea. I still have filters like this at home, since I was doing a lot of analog photography back in my time. They're good at reducing glare and reflections under direct sunlight.
    Even though the idea itself is kind of ridiculous, those glasses are NOT all that expensive.

    I wear prescription glasses, since I'm shortsighted, and for my last pair I had to pay almost 700 EUR. Why? Lets see:

    Frame – these are not all that expensive, unless you choose some fancy "designer" brand. I don't care for logos and brands, but then again you don't want to drop expensive lenses into cheapest frames, so it's still better to choose something, that's not the cheapest option, but offers some solid protection.

    Lenses – majority of cost is here. I use mineral glass Zeiss lenses, which is pretty much the best option quality-wise, but also expensive. If you want to go on a budget, you can choose Hoya or something similar. Quite important thing is, that lenses for prescription glasses have to be made from the same piece of optical glass. I have a major difference between my eyes, so both lenses in my glasses are shaped completely different. But if you break one of the lenses, you can't just replace this one, you have to replace BOTH.
    Plastic lenses are lighter and cheaper, but they also scratch REALLY fast.

    Additions – it's what generates additional cost. In my case, I use photochrome (self-dimming) lenses, since my eyes really don't like bright sunlight. That's one thing. Due to technological limitations, for long time you could only choose grey or brown photochrome. Nowadays, there's variety of tints to choose from. My current pair of glasses use blue-grey tint (works good for my eyes), which is obviously more expensive, than regular grey. So, that's the next thing. BTW, blue tint is not recommended for drivers (but I'm not one). Drivers should choose orange/yellow tinted glasses, since they brighten up and sharpen the picture, thus being beneficial while driving under low-light conditions. For the same reason a lot of sniper glasses (like Oakleys), is also tinted yellow.
    On top of that, I've order my glasses with all possible anti-reflection and hardening layers on the lenses – and that costs too, as you imagine.

    So those filter glasses are not really "expensive" at 60 bucks, but if you ask me, tthey're just nothing more, than a weird toy…

    9:22 As others mentioned, ANTI-biotic, not "probiotic".
    And it's… a bad idea. Actually harmful.

    Antibiotics don't discriminate; as the name suggests, they kill everything, that's alive (so they don't really work against viruses). But human body is a host for many beneficial microorganisms, that mainly constitute intestinal flora. Without it , you wouldn't be even able to eat half of the products we normally eat, because human body on its own doesn't produce all required digestive enzymes.
    Which is why after antibiotic treatment you can't eat things like steak or mushrooms just right away, or it will end up with diarrhea and stomach cramps. First, you have to rebuild your microflora by eating stuff like yoghurts, containing live bacteria.

    Additionally, human body gains resistance to harmful microorganisms exactly from contact with them. Antibiotics are "heavy artillery", that should be used only as last resort. Scientists already call for limiting of "casual" antibiotics use, since it leads to emergence of new types of bacteria, that are resistant to them – and that's the danger.
