The thing that gets me, is that if you dare try to resell your tickets, they tack a fee on that as well. So in one transaction, both the buyer and the seller pay a fee, just for the privilege of using the website

Just got tickets to see Underscores in Chi for $30 and I couldn’t believe it, but I was lucky to be on a mailing list and grabbed it ASAP because I just knew they’d be several hundred if I didn’t

You guys might want to take this video down as the founders of Ticketmaster. Both being Jewish is common knowledge with a simple Google and with the current climate of antisemitism in the country, having them represented as growing horns, which is a racist stereotype against Jews, probably not a good look!!!! Just wait until the right person takes a look at this video and you guys are going to be reconsidering your choices. Trust me.

This mess started when I was was attending live music shows. Jeff Ament and Stine Gossard of Pearl Jam went to Capitol Hill and lost. The next big thing was that record companies no longer offered tour support to musicians. As Harry Bosch would say, you can’t inning that bell.

It's actually insane how there has not been a competitive ticket seller started yet.
Also blame Obama for allowing the Live Nation – Ticketmaster merger in 2010 when they were the only 2 players in the market. My guess is that he got paid off real well.
