In highschool I'd occasionally sing the national anthem before sports games (usually volleyball) and like one month into my junior year I was singing it by myself for the first time and I was so nervous that, halfway through, I forgot the lyrics. To the National Anthem. Everyone in the gym ended up singing the rest until I could remember the lyrics again. I drove home as fast as I could after that.
