The FCC voted in a 3-2 party-line vote to end net neutrality. Here's what you need to know about the decision and what happens next: http://bit.ly/2j48UfT

This aged well, LoL. None of the doom and gloom of repealing Net Neutrality has ever come true and it has been over 6 years. In fact ISPs have expanded more, increased speeds, removed data caps, the most important Prices have decreased across the board. I've been paying $80 for a 2 Gbps fiber line, several years ago I was paying $120 for 100MBps for cable internet. There are also 4 or 5 options here in the very rural areas of Florida (Satellite-based, DSL, Cable, Fiber and internet via a cellular WiFi puc).

It's funny how Comcast owns a substantial part of Vox Media. The Comcast Corp. v. FCC case is a large part of why we're here in the first place.

Another bad take from Vox. 2023 and all the huffing and puffing about the end of the world because of ending net neutrality and none of it was true. But instead it just got voted back into existence with even more overreaching powers than ever before and brought under the euphemism of inequity

Well… now we have Netflix, Disney, Google, and Amazon as the heads of our internet all because ISP’s have more freedom to now dominate the way we browse internet. Thanks. 🤦♂️

The internet is broken already with too many fricken ads. Who surfs websites anymore? This will be the death of it

I'm from the future, in the year 2023 and can confirm. The open internet is under attack…. by Google and DRM… *rechecks notes*. Yep… Google.
