Josh Miller, great song, awesome start…. but what about you ran the same video at night, with some Goth or Demon outfit… and as you start to ramp up, the video flickers between day and night, and finishes in full night. It would show the deeper side of you breaking out.
Anaria, your vocals are very strong and your layered harmonies are spot on. I just felt it was washed out under your singing partner. Call and responce would work well, or a deep harmony, but his power-scream, although amazing, made you harder to hear..
Alan, loved your major-over-minor power chords. I do that when playing bass, and it always turns heads, because music is supposed to be a dance of musicians/vocalists that play different songs together and they still fit and mesh. That"s what made the best reggae songs. The bass player seems to be playing a different song to a different beat, but it just works!
But Addy Paul….you have my vote. I felt every word of that! Your soaring highs are amazing, blending some growls with a strong clear vocal. I don't know if you were singing the clear vocals in the video, but you looked serious, yet relaxed. AND… to top it all, you chopped that track to make it your own, Outstanding in every way bro!
Good luck.

I am just listening to this for the hundredth time (because of Chris Hyunh ofc), but I just realized for the first time that Chris hit the exact same note at 0:08 as the woman did at 6:26!
If you thought Chris wasn't impressive enough with his musicality, that's some proven insane range for a dude!

even in metal singing there is a place for lyric, meter, phrasing. many singers here had killer voices but the best ones also brought phrasing that felt natural and lyrics that punch.

So many great submissions, I'm watching this video 4th in the string of 5. I love screaming and growling, but some take it a step too far, in MY opinion. Not taking anything from any of the submissions, all were good and talented performers.
