How Investors Are Getting Rich Off Of This Montana Town

More Perfect Union | August 11, 2025

Investor-owned utilities are building expensive & polluting energy projects to drive up shareholder profits.
The scheme enriches massive firms like Blackrock and Vanguard.
Meanwhile customers are forced to pay higher and higher energy bills.

That type of natural gas power plant is the most expensive because it’s the most efficient and satisfies all of the EPA and state environmental requirements!

Do a little research before hitting the record button!

America needs to take out all these organizations I say Americans need to do a mass boycott on the distribution of wealth in America and the rising costs of living in America while Government is in business for themselves filling there wealth funds an stock markets while the American people suffer American government oppression and suppression it's time Americans stand an fight for ourselves an our ability to create a wealth fund system that will honestly work for the American people were done with the BS an if this Government doesn't figure it out The American people will stop buying an paying bills until we start getting what we want

What prevents people from installing solar in their homes. I understand that for some, it's too expensive. But many residents can get together and create a non-profit org for the installation and buy bulk to reduce the cost. Solar will pay for itself in 2-3 years.

I've been watching a lot of your videos and I find them interesting.
There's been a lot of construction in my area since the turn of the century and it sped up after Trump was president the first time. A lot of the land was vacant places already zoned for housing just waiting for some investors with enough money. So all is good if you're into construction and power but everywhere to meet the electricity demand are these giant ugly steel poles and a lot of heavy equipment to go with it. Eventually, the equipment goes away and the grass goes back but the poles are still there and the construction continues somewhere else. The one place that concerns me is this small piece of property that is now smaller because of the 2 giant poles just outside their back door they could have gone around. It happened during Trump's first term and I'm watching for it to happen again. Mechanicsburg PA and surrounding communities

It's unvelievble how much the Americans are suffering, are being looted in many ways by the evil government, really I can't understand why there are many bad and evil people controlling the world….. I'm sorry and wish you the best guys, I'm from Mexico, and it's incredible that you're suffering more than Mexicans when it's supposed that America is a very good and fair country. Your government is terrible doing you the worst things…. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND ALL THE WORLD.

this is why they are against wind/solar which is the cheapest way to generate electricity. and you have not seen anything yet. trump's big bs bill is going to make things a lot worst. and then to add to the mess, private equities are coming for your 401k.

Idk why you guys keep covering Montana. The people there are some of the most willfully ignorant people in the entire country. They consistently vote for the people who openly campaign on turning their state into something almost completely run by corporations all while complaining that their state is being completely privatized. Stop covering people that wont help themselves.

Edit: You guys should also look into why Northwestern has a monopoly in Montana. Montanans voted to systemically gut the Montana Power Company back in the late 1990's for short term profits, and when that fell through they had no choice but to allow the first power company that would come pick up market share of Montana Power. These people aren't victims. They're just stupid.

You poor folks don’t understand: black rock and vanguard are connected to government through the lodge system. That lodge in your own neighborhood is behind doing this to you šŸ˜…. Enjoy the fruit of your allegiances.

If your legislators can;t fix it or refuse to…fix it yourselves. Organize your neighbors. Ruin the construction projects – sugar in concrete works well. Sabotage and damage the facilities. They'll stop when it gets too expensive.

Wait, corporations are only interested in profit and government regulators aren’t doing their job? We should stop using electricity immediately! (In case you’re not picking up on the sarcasm, I’m laying it on pretty thick…) can’t believe I watched this whole one sided video almost to the end

The insurance ( car, home, health and life) are also in this position. We’re REQUIRED to have it, it’s government regulated, but private investor owned. It doesn’t end well. Anything required by government law should be co-op owned.

Juat had to switch from Vigilante Electric to NW.
NW Energy is twice the price and I only moved 5 miles away in the same town!
I went from .06 cents a kW to .14 cents a kW, the highest rate in the country! This is even higher than Illinois! Everyone needs to go solar but not the 1-800 Solar way….. own your own equipment!

Hmmm. M&M Enterprises. ā€œWhat’s good for Milo Minderbinder is good for the country.ā€ Remember, ā€œcorporations are people too my friend.ā€ After absurdities come atrocities.
