How Communities Can Adapt to Climate Change I NOVA I PBS

NOVA PBS Official | November 22, 2025

For many, the concept of “adapting” to climate change feels equivalent to admitting defeat.

But climate change’s effects are already being felt today, so adapting will be necessary — and it doesn’t have to hurt. Explore how building resilience can have a silver lining.

So this video said nothing about climate change that isnt and wasnt already known, except to reinforce the idea that climate change is some devil at the door and a massive threat…. yes the climate changes, we all know that, not a single indication was cited for what avg. people can do to sustain natural disasters, not climate change just disasters, the same ones we endured for hundreds of years, in the same places we always endured them… history has show that nothing is new and nothing has changed in people preparing for disaster defense. this video was made for cities or organizations it was made for random viewers,… so why is there mention of establishments and not families. changes have been made yet here are still waving this flag of global climate errors….. yet we seen nothing the shows this being anything more than a standard cycle

If humans were f d up enough to murder rape pillage and plunder their Mom, earth. Seriously believe they can do their way out of consequence on any meaningful level? Mass Psyhcosis just one aspect in play. Anyone that believes, or hopes their national govt.. and local municipality is going to show up prompt and capable at our doorsteps to save our asses during the fast arriving fierce events and wide impact with how we live, work. Not happening not going to. If my community is under a heat dome and the power grid fails i am good if i have a gasoline generator powerful enough. Maybe the humidity is high too? Maybe heat bulb effect is in play. I will be sick fast and dead in an hour if dont get to air cooled. Maybe a shelter but will they let me bring my dogs, cats ? Be cool to stick it out at home with comfortables. All these friggin cities taking hits today and how many take care of their own ? Pitifully few or none. Are somethings people can do but must take the initiative ourselves. No one on this planet can concieve what has occured and fast arriving. Well a handful, mostly keeping that to themselves for right reasons.

I'm sorry about climate changing and so we're the dinasours who got blasted away with God knows what. I'm adapting by just living as best I can and not worry ABOUT WHAT GOD DOES. GLAD IM A SURVIVOR AND not whining. Poor birds are more worried than me. They have to navigate around the KILLER WINDMILLS

Al Gore told us the seas would rise. He lives on the beach. The climate has always changed. Stop manipulating people with fear. The so-called elites are the ones who rape and poison the earth and they're still doing it now, while exploiting people in every nation, especially the poor. Now the same people are telling the rest of the world that it's all their fault. You people make me sick. You will pay for your deception.
