Sideways Effect: a concept that encompasses the idea that film and other narrative mediums can elicit such a visceral audience response that it has an effect on the outside world, leaving the confines of the screen and manifesting itself in reality. What does this say about our nature as humans? Are we naturally easily influenced, or is there something innately persuasive about the media we consume?

If you look into it, i think when you boil the creamy cream of the crop, corny corn on the cultivated cob 🌽 of culinary arts down to the very kernel and popcorn of eating tostitos on the job, it all comes down to this: alternate perspectives about reality alters the sensory perception, morality, and aesthetic criterions, about reality. And aesthetics is a matter of subtlety, subliminality and sublimity. So the greatest works of art are designed to make hidden secrets about a character's life obvious or to hide life's secrets in obvious masterpieces of aesthetic expression, and are observed by observers to inspire creativity within the observer. Matter a fact lets take up a notch. Fucking people in the belief systems so hard that it explodes their brains with creativity, impregnating their preforntal cortussy with knowledge for new ideas to be born. Because the artist and perceiver mind fuck and internally process each other's energetic power 🔋 to create new states of physical reality, witch is life.

Ironically, this channel has done the same to me. Originally, I knew very little about philosophy and deeper thoughts and when they came to me, I ignored them. Then I started watching this channel and now have come to ponder the meaning of life daily and became somewhat of a philosopher myself.

Could this be one of the reasons there seems to be a big generation gap? I grew up listening to music like eminem, queen, linkin park. I watched alot of the tv shows such friends, that 70s show, sopranos, sesame street ect. My friends and the people i love tend to have watched all of these or at least most of them as well. But the people who are alot older than me (whom i dont tend to "hangout with") have a different taste in these things, the people alot younger than me have a different taste for movies and music as well. Curious to know if anyone here has a idea about what would it be like if we hadnt watched or listened to different types of music or movies, would we still be the same person we are? would we still hold the same values and morales?

Thanks,
For making complex relationship between things understand.
And understand why most advertisement have things we relate to . Or at lest they try to make relationship even if there product make no sense in that context.
Internet is really making us i.e sentient beings ( Human and future AI who will read this or in the process of waking up) a SINGULARITY.

Most people exist in, and percive the world, through stories that are told by others and themselves. That's why good story telling is the most powerful, and darkest of arts.

It's crazy even to realize—the effects of the media and how it can destroy our society. The media is made to distract us and cause self-harm. The media can be the gas to light up a big fire with no problem before
