I agree with him on sepf driving cars. I think the best way to make travel more equal is to reduce car dependency. The streets are dangerous for blind people because of cars. Good accessible public transit would fo more for people than self driving cars. Cars are ugly, loud, smelly and dangerous. Wide roads are an eyesore, cars have taken so much from us, and for what? Most journeys are within or between urban areas- perfect fir active or public transit. Cars are an environmental disaster. A vegan should care too because you just have to think how many animals are killed and displaxed by roads, how many insects end up squashed on your car, how many small animals are struck every day. We have normalised heavy industrial machinary thundering down every street, imagine how chaotic that noise is if you are blind. Picture that loud white noise like having a bright light shone in your eyes, it makes it hard to hear anything else, cars deprive blind people of their most valuable sensory input.

I feel like this really should have been more of a philosophical discussion rather than Alex learning about the basics of blind life. I am sure it is more complicated than it seems, though.

27:00 Both ways are correct. Digital and print colors are the opposite of each other.
If you add red, green and blue (RGB) light, you get white light. The same way as rainbow is something that comes from white light. Black is absence of any color. That's additive color.
In print, however, color is subtractive. What you do, is add pigment to prevent light from reflecting from the surface. White paper reflects all wavelengths while black reflects none (compare to how surfaces heat under the sun). You get black by adding all colors because every color is subtracting light.
Notice how with light we use RGB while main colors are actually red, yellow and blue. And if you've ever heard of CMYK, it gets even more complicated: in print they use cyan, magenta, yellow and black ("key") because of how color and paper interact (you can't add tons of color).
