The unfortunate thing about being a man is we are much more effective at topping ourselves. I know three females ( 1 family member, one acquaintance, one friend ) who survived attempts on their own lives. I know two males ( 1 family member, one acquaintance ) who succeeded and are dead now. Such a waste of life for transient reasons. ❤

I love watching Justin's videos. I can't play a note but love rock. I find it all very informative. Also Justin's honesty about his recovery I'm sure must be uplifting and encouraging to those who struggle.

Have you checked out Brown Sabbath's version of "War Pigs"? It is a very nice take as well. Brass Against has a sweet version of "The Pot" by Tool, which is a favorite in this household. Love the Permission to Land album by the way.

Your videos and podcasts are really helping me right now, both personally and creatively. I’m a self taught musician who’s been playing for over 20 years, faking it, unchecked in bands, and I am learning a lot that I never knew from your videos about guitar, as well as writing. Thank you. You are a total inspiration… from a longtime fan (that has lost touch and realizing I have several Darkness records to catch up on!)

Hey Justin
I’m working with a old guitarist freind writing new material
We used to around late 80s , managed by Ian Grant but never quite broke through .
30 years on after kids have grown up we have started writing again .
In our humble opinion it’s sounding very promising .
We are also writing music for a non commercial publishing route.
Would you be interested in critiquing our stuff once we’re finished .
At that point we would be unsigned .
We’re working in our own studio and producing ourselves at the mo.
no capacity for live drums , so we’re also looking for a hot drummer and bass player to live recordings with and maybe to complete the line up .
We’re contemplating going into a good live space studio to again Ad drums programmed at the moment .
Love your show been listen fir about 8 months now.
Anyway
I’m not sure this is best way to reach you so just sending this hoping it will spark your interest.

Thanks for bringing up safety when running. As a bicyclist I am amazed at how many people on trails, etc. wearing headphones have zero spatial awareness and therefore are at risk of injury to themselves and others.
