Having any disease affect your brain – your mind – isn’t funny really. It happens to even young beautiful minds from brain trauma or disease. It happened to me mid-life after a gigantic brain aneurysm that was misdiagnosed as someone asleep in radiology diagnosed my MRI as normal. What started it was epilepsy seizures out of nowhere. Sixteen months later, with double eye vision and nonstop headaches and on pain med, a 2nd MRI showed I was slowly bleeding. That became an instant emergency, I luckily survived, though the coiling was not done right and I continued to suffer the epilepsy until I found a neurologist who did it correctly, repaired damage caused and gave me my life back with no seizures. But my mind didn’t work the same. Words come to me but don’t always come out right. Or my thoughts get confused. However, no one should be in any position of power that affects others with a brain disease because control is lost (especially with the nuclear code which he’s threatened). I wouldn’t wish any brain issues on anyone; however, with the malignant narcissism, his total lack of empathy (even for his own family), and his sexual proclivities, he deserves this. In that note, perhaps you could be kinder in covering this because when you call him namesit makes others with brain trauma feel less, different , and a reminder they don’t need. You are right to be aware of his declining health and that he should not be in this position, and for other reasons as well, but the fear, like it was with Biden, is who is making and allowing these decisions. Many say his administration does what they want and all should be faced with legal penalties and I agree because they accept that responsibility when sworn in – to protect us, not a very sick man, not their own personal gain.
