    Here’s a scam Corporations do, they get you to put your credit card on file for monthly billing, then they’ll “accidentally” double bill you out of no where, and if you catch them, they say “..oh sorry about that, it was an error on our behalf, we refunded you.” Meanwhile if you don’t catch them, they get away with it.

    Color ink required: it prints a hidden code on every page containing the printer's serial number and the time & date, using color ink. For "solving" crimes.

    College books: I compared 2 versions of a psych 101 book. The differences were: the photo on the cover. A one page anecdote about PTSD. Same story, but changed from Viet Nam to Iraq. 😂

    printer ink… you say the test had been by by printing black text as normal, and when they covered the colour caaartridge it was exactly the same? you dont think that means its actually just using the black do you?

    Im lucky that in my uni our teachers send us the pdfs of the books we use or read and they buy the pdf for the book and teacher version

    You should of also said on the printer scam that some companies now require you to register your printer online, and even if you run out of ink you won’t be able to scan documents

    Before picking college classes, for many core classes where you have flexibility with teachers, use Rate My Professor. Most use it to find easy teachers, but I use it to see if the textbook is required or if they use a cheaper version of it.

    Once had a math teacher have us buy a version from 1984, because it was $1.00-3.00 online. The current version was $95.00 (a cheap textbook, but the books were 130 pages only).

    I his mind, why overpay? Math is math. There's no groundbreaking work being done in the field Pythagorean Geometry 😂

    The diet pill thing reminds me of PhenPhen. For the younger audience that doesn't remember, these were 2 prescriptions that, when used together, were a "miracle" weight loss combo… Then, after scores of people using them, we found out they blow out your heart.

    They were safe on their own, but the interaction between them that everyone thought was a miracle, was the exact opposite. Can't even blame the FDA because it's impossible to thoroughly test every drug with every other drug.

    There is an easy way, you can punch hole at the top of ink cartridge, put ink inside through injection and seal it again… I do this and it's really super cheap this way

    for the printer issue, in 2025 if you buy a printer that needs cartridges you’re scamming yourself. 5 minutes of research and you can avoid that problem
