Have Maneskin Changed?
When I heard that Måneskin had a new song out I just thought i was going to be the same old pompous in your face glam rock. They have very much so proven me wrong with this song “The Loneliest”. I’m pleasantly surprised.

The real treasure of Måneskin is Teatro d'Ira vol.1, the songs with the lyrics, it is unbeliavable how people so young could wrote songs like those. They already have Torna a Casa, Le Parole Lontane, Il Dono Della Vitta from the new album and Gasoline that is amazing.

You should listen to the Italian songs like "Coraline" or others and just translate them, you will be impressed too.
Listen to the "Coraline" performance at San Remo Festival and take a look at the emotions Damiano dares to show on stage, it's a very touching song, really sad indeed.
They are very young but don't fear to shoe their emotions, they write songs with really deep meaning behind,… It's fantastic and it's really worth to listen to the Italian words and translate them.

I'm Italian and I really don't get the interest in this band. Sounds so fake to me, hopefully they could use the opportunity of their fame to improve in the future and do a great record eventually

It's jsut a stupid song for teengers, Steven Tyler or Axl Rose would just laugh at it if people would ask them to analyze it. It's pretty odd to see Justin Hawkins analyzing commercial rubbish lol, but this world is now totally crazy, i think i might see him analyzing Bello figo's songs and i wouldn't be surprised anyway lol

I love Maneskin, but i've never listened to any of their english songs more than once. They created lyrical masterpieces with everything they wrote in italian. Musically they are so original and cool in those songs too. It's almost painful to listen to their nice, dimmed down made for radio stuff in english. If you ever listened to Coraline or Lividi Sui Gomiti, you'll never even think about Supermodel again.

Oh my, you really haven't heard their best songs if you think this means they've changed. Torna a casa, La paura del buio, Coraline, Le parole lontane and Moriro da re just to start with and see exactly how much you've been missing. Also Damianos lyrics are significantly better in Italian, so please do take a look at the translations.

As Italian i'm not proud of them. To be honest, it's a shame that Sony export such poor talented musicians around world and ignore very talented italian ones like Lacuna Coil, Dionysian, Le Vibrazioni, Negramaro and many others. Justion Hawkins probably don't know many things about these 4 guys. They are popular because a song called "Zitt e Buoni", that song is a modified copy of another italian song called "F.D.T by Anthony Laszlo (even the same words in the refrain), and their other success is "Beggin'" which is a cover. This is clearly a band which is pusched up by other factors than music, their music is just crap or rubbish compared to other italian talented artists.
I love Darkness and i think Justin should not even talk about this commercial and stupid songs for teenegers, Rock is another world and that belongs to true artists like Darkness, Queen, Aerosmith end so on.
Good Luck with you amazing music Justin, you're our last hope.

this song is great but I really feel like they already have other mature stuff out on their previous records like CORALINE, VENT'ANNI. If anyone like the loneliest they should definitely check them out:))

As italian I should be proud of them. And yeah, they are doing great. But as a musician myself, I think they are so boring and "normal". I mean, take a band like Ghost: Tobias didn't invent new sounds, but mixed perfectly 70s, 80s and 90s in total fresh way.
This guys are good musicians, drummer and bass player are really, really good, but I find them to predictable. Still happy for them tho

A little bit more mature for other (older?) audiences? 🤔 The wah wah pedal sounds too exaggerated for my ears, but is probably purposed to make the song artificially more interesting, with a little unexpected twist.
Also, young, hot-blooded Italians do not seem to mind the cold.
