I was asked one time what I would do if this jacked guy (who was doing the asking), what I would do if he punched me in the face. Now be advised, I was standing on one leg with my back against a brick wall, my other leg bent so that foot was also flat against the wall, and both of my hands behind my back. I immediately thought this was the dumbest question I had ever heard of in my life, and I almost simultaneously also thought I would bleed and fall down. I figured neither of those answers were answers he was looking for, but he was thinking about what kinds of retaliation I might offer. Realizing this, and also realizing that I would probably just bleed and fall down, I told him, "probably nothing" as I knew that retaliation would be difficult while lying on the ground with my head split open. He looked at me like I was nuts and walked off! 😂😂😂

I was dating this dude in a band. I was at one of his shows enjoying the music. Which isn’t me dancing, just quietly enjoying the music. This lady comes up to me “why aren’t you dancing?! Don’t you like it?!” Ma’am…. I wouldn’t be here still if I didn’t enjoy it. Just leave me be.

I used to perform for a living, and DJ karaoke for years, and even if 99.9% of the audience is having a great time, my brain would always find the ONE person who wasn't, or at least looked like they weren't, and I would start feeling self-conscious about it. 😂 The joys of being a performer, and also a socially awkward introvert.

There was a dude that was shot during the murder of him and his wife, and he was suspected to be the attacker because he survived through questioning with a bullet in his brain and the stupid cops didn't even assume his raccoon sign was a REALLY BAD SIGN that he was dying. Horrible horrifying situation. They could have saved him if they'd just… Paid attention and had a doctor on staff.

Reminds me of the story about a woman that shot her husband in the head while he slept, only for him to wake up, complain about a headache, and told her they needed to go to the hospital.
Her plan was to say that the gun they kept under their mattress went off accidentally. But the more insane theory presented at the time was that it was truly an accident, and he was in on the excuse, and was conscious enough with the bullet in his head to still formulate an excuse to avoid charges for illegal possession of a gun.
