Grew up in the 70s, a lot of dads were tough on their sons, including mine. Then hockey and the fighting (which was fighting back against someone more my size through the game), bullied at school, at bars, in a lot of situations.

I started to train after a broken leg when I was 14, ended up a competitive bodybuilder at 5’6 200lbs (edit: I haven’t touched a weight in 20 years and don’t plan to go back). Annnd, I was still very angry. It culminated in my brush with joining yada yada so on and so forth – it’s good that I didn’t, that I had a chance to sort myself out. It’s a long process, almost 30 years now of that work.

Nowadays I really just want to accept the world around me as it is, keep walking and be more concerned with observing my actions and reactions.
