I never bothered to look up the lyrics to the greased lightning song…I always assumed it was "it reigns supreme in gypsy cream" referring to the color of the car. The truth is disturbing!

Update: June 16th 1978, my mother would have turned 17 the day before, and my dad 16 10 days later. So yeah this would have been their jam.

John Travolta constantly makes the rookie mistake of looking at the camera/director during almost all the dancing scenes in this movie and you can tell they were constantly forced to edit at those points. Totally ruined every shot 😂

This is the first time I've ever heard the other guy have a good point. Usually he just laughs like a moron.

I hate this movie so much, but this is the best video they have done in a long time. Each video is gold, but this was the hardest I have laughed in a while.

Grease is actually the dying thoughts of Sandi as she lays in the hospital bed after she was graped, beaten, and held under water by Danny. Those summer nights Danny picked Sandi up over the summer and when she said no he forced himself on her. When she threatened to have him arrested he snapped. He beat her dragged her into the ocean and held her under. This is why the film is all a musical as she slowly dies. The end of the film she is in the car with the man she thought she was in love with slowly rises up off the ground and she heads into the light.

There are hints through out… why else did Kenickie ask if she put up a fight?

I introduced my 78 year old mother to your videos on YouTube and she remembers all these movies once she sees them and hears you talking about them. My father died in February '26 and had dementia really bad for a long time prior to that. It robbed him of his memories and himself as a whole, but it robs the joy out of life for everyone involved. It's so awesome to hear her laugh again. I really mean that, it had been forever since she seemed happy at all. I doubt the creators are gonna read this but if by chance they do I just wanted to say Thank You! You guys are hilarious and we look forward to seeing yinz post new videos. She's still going through and watching a lot of your older videos too! Keep it up! Thanks again!
