Don;t use 3.6 Flash for app development. it takes shortcuts does not follow directions, is overly trigger happy- a never ending sequency of errors and apologies. may be in a highly controlled environment it can accomplish a lot but in real life…good luck.

While everyone is saying Gemini is lagging behind, as an AI engineer, I'll say their models offer the best value for money out there. Claude, GPT, and Kimi are absolute beasts, but their pricing isn't feasible for a company to do long, day-to-day tasks with—it can eventually cost millions of dollars monthly. Google is focusing on companies that need efficient, fast, and affordable work done, rather than slow, steady, and expensive work.

Gemini 3.6 Flash is worse on everything that's important than Grok 4.5. Also, Luna has just had a 80% price drop, so there's absolutely no reason why you'd want to use Gemini.

Ive been disappointed with Google compared to other companies when it comes to AI. OpenAi, Anthropic, Kimi (Moonshot), X(Grok) are all outpacing Gemini. Google needs to focus instead pushing out 100 random products

You are not trustworthy. Unfortunately, the new Gemini models are not incredible. Have you look the benchmark charts? Gemini 3.6 is low. For example, on LMM Arena, it ranks only 15th in Text.

I love Google and I really hope they get ahead…
But, man… everytime I use Gemini is a disaster.
It is incredibly fast and I like the Gemini's personality for conversation, but isn't reliable for any task that involves changing a file.
They have to improve it a lot. Just being cheap, at this level of intelligente, won't cut it.
