I could care less. The reality is their best days are behind them now…both of them. They're both old men now and not spring chickens. If I want to listen to their music at all anymore, it's always something prior to 1984. Anything after that totally lost my interest. I dropped them when they became a speed metal band with Scott on drums.

What is it with older bands and drama these days? Thats all we hear about, infighting. Is that all they have to offer anymore? I guess it's working on me because I looked up The Who the other day to see how the replacement drummer was doing, I haven't cared about The Who is the last 30 years!! I love them but they were gone by the late 70's, PT solo stuff is good. A great idea would be to keep the f-ing band together and go out on the golden years tour with how people remembered them in their glory days. Lets face it, they are the oldies tour of today. Bands where the bass player is the only OG member to play casinos and state fairs is ridiculous. I recently my band opened a show for a band that I held in very high regard and is very close to my heart that had only 1 OG member and he wasn't even the singer, It was sad and I was let down by the whole thing (it sounded like a cover band). He is a great guy, and he paid us more than we were promised because hew really liked us, the guy is a real class act and I have nothing against him. He's still doing it so I guess Im in the minority about it and I'm glad to see he is prospering because he is a good guy, but it just wasn't what I was expecting. I was in a smaller band that had only the original singer, I begged the original guitar player to come back and play the last 2 shows with us, that was so much better. Even though I was the only guitar player for years, I didn't think the band sounded right. When the OG guitar player came back, we both played it and it was THE sound of the band. People appreciated that I got him back for the last 2 shows we did because the band never sounded better.

Fucking greed … create some of the best music ever and you toss the wntire relationship in the bin because of money.
Hard to respect most of the bands i grew up with.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Being in a band is like being married to 4 or 5 people. Too be together 20+ years takes a lot of dedication, communication, understanding, and humility. So very few ever get to that mark.

I've seen some live performance where Glenns playing has been a little sloppy and appears to be a little to buzzed. As far as editing to make KKs solos worthwihile I think we can all agree KK needs no help coming up with great solos. Maybe that was real early on in Priest career I guess that's possible. I always felt KK was the most dedicated member of the band pushing to be the best. That being said KK is not without blame for the split. He should have communicated his feelings much earlier.

I believe Tipton dropped the big one 😂.
    Ka Boom… Kablaaamo ! 🤯 😂
    The things is …
Entire Metal scene is shrinking . If its back in a days this marvelous assembles of Judas Priest was totally possible. But now, its very hard and it comes to the point of survival of the band financially and artistically . But Judas Priest needs to keep going moving ahead….
I completely & immensely agrees Judas needs Tipton and KK and Richie as one as guitars to have that depth in every songs . However the situations are completely different now. Internet dumping price of music as we all know . Noone wants to buy records , CDs , DVDs now . Every kids on streets listening hip- hops & rap and they teased and calls me im a homosexual which im not. just because of i have a long hair . No offense towards to LGBTQ society . Take it as Its just same as what if KK guitir solo is the best pop music guitor solo or what not differences and He can get offended im sure. But thats hiw wirld changed over the years…
Also , Everyone getting old and net earnings are shrinking . Its hard to find the revenues with this top of the line advanced heavy metal music like Judas Priest.
Back in a day , 80s to 90s we all strived to be the technically superior, newest compositions, be heaviest , be hardest , be the fastest , be the highest pitch & tone vocals , create & be the newest… That actually all coms back & killing Judas Priest and Heavy metal & all the rock scenes ironically…. 😔😭
Also , Tipton got ill so unfairly and so unexpectedly… Obviously , he didnt even wanted to be like that and noone seems to doesnt care but Rob and Ian also must have tough time in thier own private lives with thier own terms. Its all relative … All parallels what we all go thru … Including me as well . I believe as the band Judas Priest , it must had to be the hardest decision to let KK go so he can support himself with his own band with his fame which he gained from Judas and wait out to see the better chance to bring him back. Trust me , in deep down and in a end of the day, no one wants to this ending with KK. The best thing KK can do is to keep steady with positive attitudes with mothership Judas Priest
& Not going to the level of animosity as Like David Lee Roth & Sammy Hager with Van Halen. But keep that good stimulation each others going . 😂😉
Love you Glenn and Love you KK. And We shall Prevail all togather !! 🤬🤘

K.K. didn't want his leads to be edited or be "pieced together" by Glenn, he wrote in his book.
It's rude for Glenn to say he did that for making K.K.'s leads "worthwile". Sounds like a bully to me, and it seems he was.
In my opinion K.K. had always been the better lead guitarist. In direct comparison Glenn's playing always fell short.
So I guess there was jealousy.

Led Zeppelin Recorded 108 songs. 26 were covers, That's 82 original songs
    KK Downing wrote 136 songs..
He was the one who hired "Glen Tipton" to join Judas Priest..
It was the best decision that he's ever made in his entire career.
Business Worldwide reported, “The acquisition covers Tipton's songwriting catalog of almost 200 songs as a member of Judas Priest, beginning with the album Sin After Sin and continuing through to the band's last studio album, Firepower, released in 2018.”

Both are amazing song writers. Judas Priest, had the best guitar duo, in all of Metal's history. But you would think that they would welcome KK Downing back with open arms.

But there must have been one hell of a blowup for Ken, to leave the band. He dedicated his entire life to the band. I love them both. It's sad they can't get along.
