I have a vivid memory of being confronted by my parents who'd been convinced that my AD&D books would begin to levitate around the room loosing miscllenaious succubi and demons! I simply glared and offered up the correct dice for a saving throw against Stupidity. This film maybe will feel different for anyone who suffered through the Moral Majority's rise/fall in the 1980s! Everything I loved back then (and still do today, mostly) was being targeted for burning: my action figures, my books, my comics, my beloved heavy metal… and it planted the seed of something positive: a satirical sci-fi novel, published back in March, 2001 called "The RIse and Fall of Shimmerism" which – wait for it – felt impossible to market when the 9/11 attack happened, since a key event in the novel was almost idenitcal. Even in defeat, decades later, the zealous found a way to screw with me. Watching Phil's odyssey might just be the catharsis I've been waiting for!
The funny part is that it's all true. Jesus is God. <3
If you don't believe in the spiritual, then you can at least understand the immense psychological programming being conducted through the medium of "entertainment".
I'm laughing because there might be some Christian out there that takes you seriously. (But honestly, if I wasn't on so tight a budget, I'd donate.) Good luck with your movie. I'd like to see it when it comes out.
hey, I would like to support you, kickstarter however doesnt have paypal as payment option. I dont have a credit card, because I normally dont need it. If you have paypal and let me/us know your paypal adress, at least I would send you some for the post production.
