Completely understand not being able to have someone who's disruptive in the band. But dukes being in Exodus was always just a let down. I honestly can't remember the last time I put on one of the albums that he's on it. While I just listened to tempo and persona within the last week.

Bit late to this video, but just wanted to say that I don't have a problem with no phones during the Ghost show. What I do have a problem with is the dynamic pricing that they had, which is the reason I didn't end up getting a ticket. The starting prices were already ridiculous, around 150€, and as I got the chance to buy them, they were over 250€. For a basic seat ticket.

Let's be honest most people stand there an watch the show thru the screen on their phones while recording so they can post social media clips when they get home 🤦🏻‍♂️ & it does ruin the experience for that person as well as those around them.
Ghost being such a theatrical band i truly think the phones ruin the experience.
I understand wanting to snap a photo then enjoy the show but folks can't practice such restraint these days it seems.

Unfortunately times change and the bands will also in time give up and allow phones. As far as Ghost goes please do ban phones they suck and don't need more people falling in love with a bunch of losers.

Showing my age, but remember going to shows and WE DIDN'T HAVE PHONES? You'd lose a friend, and they were the driver that night? Panic set in and you'd find them on the way out? Geez folks, it's gonna be ok! Memories are better than crappy phone footage any day!

Good for Ghost…cant stand the band but can get behind their no phones policy. Theres no reason to video bits of concerts you're never going to eatch again. Its annoying enough for people in the audience. Its even worse for the band to see a ton of retarded teens waving their phones in the air.

I don’t care if you paid five bucks to go see ghost or any other band, you should be able to film it and take pictures. You are a paying customer and you should be able to enjoy the experience anyway you wish. There’s a lot of things to be factored into it. What if it’s your favorite band of all time and it’s your first and maybe only time ever seeing them? What if it’s your first concert ever? There are many reasons to want to document a concert and most of them are purely for personal enjoyment. Any videos that are posted on YouTube or any other platform would only help to increase the groups popularity. this is a bit ridiculous

A real conundrum regarding Ghost. I don’t like the rule on phones but I actually don’t mind it at the same time. But in the end it’s just one of several factors that has retired me from concerts.

Taking a few pictures is one thing, but filming whole songs and gigs is another. But with smartphones you cant tell what EVERYBODY in the crowd is doing with the phones. So it would have to be all or nothing. Bring a polaroid camera for pictures??? If they still make those things LOL !!!

Back in 1980, there was a triple bill at The Orpheum in Boston of Def Leppard, Scorpions and Judas Priest. My brother in law was a bouncer at that show. I didn't make it to that show, but I went , in 1981, to The Orpheum, to see Judas Priest with Iron Maiden (with the late Paul Di'Anno and Clive Burr) on Priest's Point Of Entry and Maiden's Killers tour.

I never take my phone out at shows but I also don't want to pay ridiculous ticket prices to have someone tell me what I can or can't do. Dumb rules like this are not in the spirit of metal or rock and roll at all. Honestly there are so many more important issues and problems with concerts and the industry these days and this is what Ghost is going to focus on? I like Ghost, would love to see them live but I'll pass on this. No thanks.

I think Ghost should consider the average age of many metal fans… a lot of us are in the "sandwich generation"- people who have children and elderly parents to care for. For a lot of us, we have to arrange caregivers just to get the chance to go to a concert at all, and it's hard not to worry if you can't be contacted easily.

How many people besides myself are confused that Ghost are called a metal band. They are keyboard heavy melodic pop. Am I alone in this? As for the cell phones, this is not the 70s anymore when you couldn’t bring a camera. Cells are part of culture and should be used at the show if the ticket purchaser so desires.
