During this operation, poor inter-service communication and cooperation between the Kriegsmarine and the Luftwaffe and inexperience resulted in the loss of two German ships, despite the lack of Allied forces, through friendly fire bombing and German or British mines.”

I’ve been bamboozled! I thought this video was about the loss of the Admiral Graf Spee. It was literally in the thumbnail image and the title of the video could realistically be seen as a jab at her ultimate fate. It wasn’t until I was 3 minutes into the video that I realised this was about something completely different.
