7:05 you literally just did that with Kermit and all millennials and this 80s millennial fully grew up with Kermit and miss piggy stuff all through my childhood, miss piggy had the best bubblegum toothpaste and Kermit was my nightlight before being replaced by Garfield but my very first one was Mickey from fantasia and I will die on the hill that a muppets Christmas Carol is the best version, period plus treasure island with Tim curry, our childhoods were not the same. I was 13 before home computers and internet were starting to become common.
Millennials are actually the most divided generation because half of us had a childhood before internet and the other half didnt and it makes a huge difference in development. One third of us also had finished high school before no kid left behind initiative diluted education into daycare. Huge difference.
Tbf tho you seem to have come out a more critical thinking human than most your peers Ive personally met or observed online. That is awesome and gives me hope. The only issue I had with gen z dissing millennials was their shit education not allowing them to craft half decent or well informed burns.

Im a older millennial. Born in 1988, im 37 years old. Im more upset that shit i had back in school is now in museums 😮 I feel hella old now! something ive noticed is that usually its middle/younger gen z ragebaiting older millenials, and those same older millenials falling for it and vice versa. you almost never see younger millenials or older gen z doing either, if i had to guess why id say its mostly cause they were around during the older days of the internet and learned pretty quickly that most people like this are trolls, and if you feed the trolls more will show up.

your point about it mainly being the older millennials and younger members of gen z is so true. as a cusper, most people i know are sort of awkwardly slotted between these two groups and don’t really relate fully to either of them. and do not care about any of this.

I hate to agree with the singing lady lol but the Kermit line does make sense because the parents who would’ve put those diapers/underwear on the babies would have definitely experienced peak Sesame Street/muppets, and therefore putting those on their kids.
