    2:56 i think this is the first instance of both the manager's personalities/heads being awake at once
    also I think he's realizing that the gas jockey boy may be related to Lulu somehow which is doubly messed up

    2:05 I really like the detail in this scene. The jockey's little quip here is amusing enough, but I like the hippo starting to shed tears as the reality of what's about to happen suddenly occurs to him followed by him redoubling his efforts to get that door of it's hinges. Also the jockey's boss sort of crossing his arms in the corner trying desperately to grapple with the fact that his attempts to keep the guy from catching a cold in the rain is about to freeze him to death.

    One other thing that interests me is the beginning, how we don't see if Karla selects yes or no on her game in regards to running off with Mr. HeartThrob, which makes me wonder if I missed some significance of that bit, or if it's going to pay off in a later short, like maybe she's indecisive and will leave it on that screen for the next several shorts, or maybe it's meant to represent how her IRL love life is like and we'll see parallels in a future story where she doesn't have time for romance because of her job getting in the way. Or maybe it was just an absurdist gag, but the fact it cuts back to it at 0:45 makes me think there's some deeper connection between it and Karla's character.

    I like to imagine that the gas jockey boy was related to Lulu somehow they look too similar. Maybe he was her great great uncle.

    After watching episodes 1 and 2 a hundred times, it wasn't until now that I finally realized the manager heads swap shifts, and that's why only grizzly voiced one was awake this whole episode. He takes the night shift

    Keep up the good work. This series is such a delight. Every joke lands, the animation is so fun to watch, the writing is real, the small town/semi-rural setting is unheard of these days, the characters are lovable, it's all just great.
