In the czech republic, the average citizen pays around 300 $ (straight from their salary – around 6.7 % of the salary) for public healthcare. Not only is this around 40 % cheaper than what you guys have to pay to private insurance, but claim denials are simply not a thing here. 99.99 % of procedures are covered and the public insurance pays for 100 % of the cost. If we have to pay at the doctor it's usually around 5 – 10 bucks for some fee if you visit them in the night time or in some other special cases. The insurance also at least partially covers medication costs at the pharmacy if you have to buy something for your treatment (sometimes it's even 100 % covered). Public healthcare system like this works in pretty much all of europe from what I know. It's crazy you guys get so hung up in big abstract words like socialism and freedom just to keep things as they are even though there are many proofs of our system simply working way better.

As an Italian, when you explained how the American healthcare system works, I was shocked. Our public healthcare system has some problems, but I can't imagine being sick and having to pay so much for treatment, not only that, but having to pay so much for insurance only to have it denied. Literally, you pay ten times more than we do in taxes for free healthcare for all. How can the american system be even considered practical and convenient in comparison?

I think everyone who wants to marry should be allowed to be married. Though marriage isn't a right. Not everything is a right. Stopping people who want to be married is abhorrent as we adults should be allowed to do as we please as long as we're not harming or impeding the rights of others, though, again, getting married isn't a right.

The fact that some people can’t put together context clues, or don’t have any listening skills is really annoying. The guy clearly said he used to have a high paying job.
