Carmine is a very good drummer but he has a tremendous ego who likes to toot his own horn. He takes credit for John Bonham's style because Bonham was inspired by the triplets he heard Carmine play, but I'm here to tell you Buddy Rich did that same figure decades before Carmine did and Buddy Rich never tried to lay claim to Carmine's style. And as far as Carmine taking credit for Banali's sound, that is ridiculous too. Sonic trends of people copying other "sounds" has been going on since the beginning of recorded music and certainly Carmine's sounds were influenced by other people.

Carmine: I went on and did a solo album on Pasha. (Records) What a joke. He is so full of himself great player he's just to full of himself to take him serious.

Wonder how much they paid people to go to Frankie's funeral. That guy was an awful person. Just look at his interviews. The guy who fired a guy who was getting ready to have brain surgery

😂 Carmine doesn’t need to steal credit from anyone 😂 He was simply explaining recording techniques and I’m sure Joking about anything to do with Frankie’s work or accomplishments 🤦🏻

Why am I not the least bit surprised that Carmine doesn’t know plywood comes in standard sheets of 4 x 8? Those New York guys don’t know flathead screwdrivers from Phillips…

Carmine's pedigree is beyond impressive, definitely doesn't need any Quiot Riot clout. I like Quiot Riot btw, but there's a reason they don't have 10 albums, or even 5.

To hear Carmine tell it…rock & roll or drums period…didn't exist before he invented them and showed everyone how to play drums. He is the most self serving jackass around. I went to see Ozzy in concert and Tommy was not there…Carmine was there. Left the show about half way through…Tommy smokes this asshat on the drums. If Carmine says it…always question it…he is a liar.

Carmine Appice has to be lying. How did he get wood from the Home Depot if there were no Home Depots in California until 1984? That was in 1982 so his story, like many of these cannot be true.

He’s just talking about the recording of drums method and he’s totally right……..why all of the drama??!! It’s just a story that only drummers and engineers or producers would even be in on. I knew Carmine way back and he was always great to me and I (like every other up and coming musician) loved getting these bits……..SO WE COULD USE THE KNOWLEDGE!!! That’s the problem these days, you get all of these people who don’t know how to listen and they screw in a lightbulb and poof they’re an electrician!!! Lighten up

Carmine did do a lot of things, but also took a lot of credit for things he didn’t do. Never cared much for him, and he always seemed bitter. Average drummer. Vinny is much more skilled, not to mention like-able.

Carmine Appice legendary drummer of many different styles from Rod Stewart to Ozzy’s Bark at the Moon tour. I liked Frankie Banali too and once he stepped onto the WASP drum throne you realised how good WASP were especially on Headless Children. The drums sound great as does his playing. He mostly played Ludwig but also played Tama though can’t remember what he played on that album but they sound excellent.

Okay… the woman that the dead drummer from Quiet Riot was banging is upset with another classic rock drummer for some inconsequential statement. Who gives a sh!t.

this reminds me of Dimebags wife and Phil Anselmo in reverse. Sounds like Frankies widow is butt hurt and chances are she wasnt even there. Carmine is a legend so I think hes right and Nikki Sixx is a burned out has been.
