Incorrect. This is the most perfect and proven method to extract reliable and consistent information. This guy knows nothing. 10:26

There IS a truth serum, it's peptides related to benzodiazepenes. Flubromazolam or Desalkylgidazepam, a few mL plus some caffeine, as long as you make the person feel comfortable they will be absolutely spilling their guts and talking about all sorts of things they never would have said otherwise. They won't even realize until the next day that they over shared and gave away WAAAY too much information. Even if you do it to yourself and you KNOW you should keep your mouth shut, you won't.

Next up – experts analyze how realistic are the roadrunner/wiley coyote interactions; the bugs bunny/Yosemite Sam interactions; how realistic is Elmer Fudd.

I mean no offense, but we go to the movies to escape reality. Who cares how realistic it is. Realistic isnt escapism. Its dull, soul sucking, horrible reality. No wonder movies, mostly, are impossible ti watch, these days. ( Well there are other reasons too).

i love this form of professionalism

He didn't mention the punani in Basic Instinct. How would that affect the interrogation?
@AndyHoward
April 28, 2026 at 2:22 pm
As far as lie detector tests go: they are inadmissible in court as evidence. And as for that scene in The Wire: You can't get an answer/result that fast. It has to be anylized by a professional for lying/deception

In psychology, all these behavioral 'cues' are nominal. The problem is that neither criminality nor interrogation are nominal and therefore you cant expect nominal responses or behaviors.

I inadvertently found myself paying really close attention to the language he used. Honestly it's a relief to hear someone of his profession and experience call abuse out like that. More law enforcement having a mindset like that would be wonderful

This guy is so wrong on so many of his points – he is definitely not a former investigator. 10 bucks says that at most given moments he's at a Trader Joes giving OTPHJs to anyone who looks his way

To be fair, Batman is not a cop. He is Batma!

I'm super curious about what Mr. Fallon's reaction would be to the movie 'Wandering Earth 2' when the main character was interviewed by an AI.

I don't trust cops. I'm female and white and I was abused by cops when I was 22 or so—young and female. Ever since, I've never trusted them. If anyone is ever in police custody for anything, demand a lawyer. Had I known to do that in 1963, I would not have been abused as I was.

I wish they had done the episode of Criminal Minds where Agent Gideon goes to interview the suspect at a black site using respect, warmth, and kindness instead of EIT.

What a gentleman.
It just goes to show…the system is corrupt, but there are a lot of good people working within—and working to change—that system.

April 28, 2026 at 2:22 pm
Guantanamo did much worse and got what was needed and eliminated the hvts that was crucial to the mission so sometimes the morality and what’s right has to be forgotten for a period of time
@crossbonelead
April 28, 2026 at 2:22 pm
But Batman isn’t a cop and in Guantanamo they did this kind of beating and abuse to targets to get information and I think that fits what joker said good cop bad cop

When I was in the Army I had an MP interrogate me, I ask for an attorney, this was denied me. He threated to break all my bones and kill me if I didn't get to talking. He treated to blind me. He threated to bang on my toes with a hammer. He threated to beat me up. And when I agreed to talk if he'd return the money out of my bank account that he took(without and due process of convicting me of a crime first). I was accused of murdering someone I'd had a falling out with. I told him that wasn't true, ask his mother. His mother backed up my story that I was not trying to kill her son. And he did not return the money he'd robbed me off and instead he bought me a hamburger(which he spat on before giving it to me. And to this day he has not been charged with any of the crimes he carried out on against me.

This guy knows interrogation. I was an interrogator for 32 years. It's refreshing to see a YouTube video with so much truth. I conducted interrogations with several agencies. It is not surprising that the CIA developed water boarding and other Enhanced Interrogation Techniques. They were generally the most incompetent interrogators with whom I worked.

He should talk a bit more about sleep deprivation and how American agencies lock suspects in rooms with built in speakers that constantly play the sounds of rabbits being slaughtered
